I know they broke in several vehicles there by Denny's then I was told there was a pretty big reward someone can get PAID by turning this thug in.

1. Usually rewards are only paid on a successful conviction.
2. Rewards have generally been used to speed up the process of finding someone.

I see a lot of people slamming the police but I have yet to see any of you go down there and do any better than they have. If you don't like the job they are doing then go down and do it and prove you can do better. Otherwise you are just complaining to complain.

Based on the responses in this forum I think the city of Arnold should require all retailers to have either free donuts or a buffet to deter crime.

And it's comments like that which are uncalled for. How would you like it if someone that had no knowledge of your field came in and criticized something they knew nothing about and they didn't know how to do? What you all are saying basically is "I don't know how to do your job or anything about it, but I'm sure I can do better than you." If that is how you all feel then go down and do their job. I doubt you would do any better than them.

Based upon the track record don't expect this to be solved with the existing resource.

If you think you can do better than our current department then I encourage you to go down and find the person and teach our department your techniques.

I'd outsource the whole police department. Arnold would save millions of dollars. How much is the donut eater payroll?

Great Idea! Better and less costly.
