Illegal Disbursement of Funds

Now let's see if you can stay on topic instead of trying to make a fool out of yourself calling me names like a grade school punk.
Because the council is supposed to be a seven-member body, proposed motions fail unless they receive four members' votes. The council has had six members since Nov. 30, when Fifth Ward Councilwoman Helen Anthony vacated her seat. Three candidates are running to replace her: Tootie Burns, Mark Jones and Laura Nauser.

I wonder...if four affirmative votes is required in a seven member body in order to expend funds in Columbia,MO. wouldn't that hold true in the City of Arnold?

Thank You Ms. Borgelt for all you do and the harassment you have to put up with.
If you did not post on here I would never find out the truth or what is really going at city hall.
Some folks want to bury their head in the sand and pretend it isn't happening ! I am not one of those.
Keep up the good work .

I know you're very proud of that vocabulary, but there is a time and place for it and if your intent is to appear intelligent by using that then you are lacking intelligence. You don't have to use big words to try to prove you know what you're talking about. I think you missed my point.
Speak for yourself knucklehead ! Its a relief to read his posts unlike your nails across a chaulkboard lunatic rants.

Counts is giving it away much like the bourisaw
fiasco. Renewed her contract and then gave her a few hundred thousand to leave.
Boondoggle gets rewarded for a big fat lie. The shoddy investigation even proved false claims. This is waaaay up outta hand !

People's kids are off limits. If you want to tangle with me, feel free, but mess with my kids and there will be consequences to be paid. She was smart enough to figure out what a joke that meeting really was and call them on it, that's good enough for me. If you have a problem with it, you take it up with me if you have enough balls. You raise your children your way and don't worry about mine.
Doris, your daughter J is one of my daughter’s closest friends. She has spent many evenings and overnights in my home, the most recent was a week ago Friday. I have taken her up for a ride in my airplane. She sees my daughter regularly. Debbie has had her out for dinner. When you set her up to run your video camera and then do not caution her about how the meetings are run, everything after that falls upon you. Shame on you for allowing this to happen to her. She is a sweetheart and you are leading her astray. You do not get to set rules you will not follow yourself. You can be a rude and vile witch but you do not set your daughter up to take a fall for which you are responsible and then claim an injustice when someone else calls you out on it. You have three meetings left before your term ends. Try to do some good in that time.

I think Doris has missed the point. When her daughter was brought up it was to show that she let her daughter make a circus out of the council meeting just as she accuses Counts, Sweeney and Shockey of doing. I think that was the point that was trying to be made.

How dare you Bill Moritz?! Really, how dare you? You have stooped to the lowest of low.
LUNN, you don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. Leave my kids out of this. You are both treading on thin ice.

Jennifer Vischer is an adult. She clowned herself into the Moss-Borgelt circus. As a star performer in that public circus, she will get her due: praise or critique. If she chooses to mimic the out of control stupid actions of her mother, she will be thrashed just like mom. Evidently mother and daughter don't get cause and effect.

I stand amazed at the extraordinarily nice gestures extended by the Moritz family to Jennifer Vischer during a period of time when Jennifer's mother (Doris Borgelt) chooses to publicly attack and berate Bill Moritz.

Bill, you are a saint. Who could maintain your generosity. It is admirable. If I were you, I would find it impossible to invite a member of the Borgelt household into my household because of the unfair attacks on you perpetrated by Jennifer's mother.

Ok, this post has been reported to Topix. If you persist in using my daughter as a pawn in your sick political games I will not stand for it. Put your own name out there and fight like an adult. Fight with me, not with my children. You are overstepping your bounds.

How sick it is to insert your adult daughter Jennifer into one of your political games? That is overstepping. You overstep, bully and harass on a regular basis. That karma will catch up with you come election day.

Yes, you are real pillars of the community to go after a candidate's children. Make Ron Counts proud, do his dirty work for him. I wonder if his kids would like to be dragged into this mess? How about Bill Moritz's kids, should we start posting their names? He is not running for office, he is leaving and feeling like he has nothing to lose. That could not be further from the truth. Maybe we could branch out further into the family tree I'm sure more than a few bad apples will fall out!

Doris, You like drama!!!!! If you would apply as much time to doing good for the city as you do stirring trouble you could have accomplished alot!! When you were asked to stop harrassing the Gold Buyers, you did not therefore now you are gonna cost the taxpayers more money. There are right ways to do things and wrong ways of doing things, harrassment is wrong! This town will turn into disaster if you get elected.
Oh and by the way our children learn by example, so please teach your daughter that, yelling out in a council meeting is very disrespectful and when asked my the mayor to not do that or she will be removed and her response was go ahead I don't care and then of course the police officer has to remove her. VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!
Maybe I was being disrespectful, but the mayor, police chief, and city attorney have the responsibility to follow the law and make sure it is followed. If they were going to state that Mr. Moss could not vote according to whatever ordinance they named, they should have done their homework and had a response as to why the other ordinance brought up stating Mr. Moss could in fact vote was being ignored. I don't know which one was correct, but I strongly feel that as responsible adults they should have figured out which one was correct before voting on the settlement.

As for learning by example, I was taught by my parents to stand up for what is right. Honestly, If Mr. Moss couldn't vote, then he can't vote, but don't take away his ability to vote unless he really isn't allowed to vote.

I was only standing up for what is right and giving the same respect the citizens were being given. Thanks for your concern in how I was raised, but I do believe my parents did a pretty decent job in raising me without your input.

If you are suggesting Doris drug her adult daughter along to the meeting and encouraged her to be disruptive in the meeting, then shame on Doris.

If Doris' adult daughter attended the meeting of her own volition and chose to disrupt the meeting, then shame on Jennifer.

Ron Counts' offspring have not disrupted any meetings. However, if they do, I'm sure Doris will deliver another "do as I say, not as I do" speeches that she is famous for.

It's not "maybe you were disrespectful". You were disrespectful.

You admit "not knowing which was correct", but assert your right to stand up for what is right. That is a disconnect.

Bill Moritz characterizes you as a sweet person. Maybe others will recognize that in you. You are entitled to participate in the public process. Know that you will be judged by your actions.

My mother did not drag me into this. She simply asked me to bring her camera so that it could be recorded. She prefers to keep my siblings, my friends (i.e. Bill's kids), and myself out of it. I was only being as respectful as the citizens are being treated and standing up for what is right(even if that means to you that I'm a performer in a circus). My mom is not leading me astray. I acted on my own.

As for Mr. Moritz he treats me with respect when I am at his home. My mom, Doris, treats his kids with respect as well. My mom has never attacked the children of other elected officials and would like to keep it that way.

I am not speaking for my mom when I say this, but haven't you ever heard the phrase "don't mess with momma bear"?

I am an adult and take responsibility for speaking out at the council meeting. The elected officials are also adults and should do the same.

Thin Ice, do I know you? Mr. Moritz can characterize me as a "sweet person" if he wants, he knows me.

I am well aware that I am an adult, therefore allowed to participate in public process and I will be judged for my actions, hence the reason I take responsibility for them, but thank you for reminding me.

Identify yourself and stand up instead of lurking in the background waiting to pounce. I have always been known for being straightforward with people. I won't say anything about you that I won't say to you. If I said it, I claim it. I don't dance around. I don't like liars and if I catch someone lying, I call them on it and NEVER trust them again. I don't like thieves or cheaters either. Guess you have figured that out by now. Like I said before, if you have a problem with me, take it up with me. If you continue to drag my daughter into this, I will take appropriate action in addition to reporting you to Topix.
