Let me be your president again. I'll give management anything they want as long as they give me something. Maybe I can get another 1911 with a personalized serial number?

BYE! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Go back to flippin burgers because that's all you're capable of doing. You and ass monkey.
do you actually think you're worth more money with the scrap you make????
I agree. Look at what an employee costs with all costs considered and you'll see that the compensation is pretty damn good, considering what the ask ask you to do.

Where can you walk off the street with no skills and make this money and benefits. Where? You want more money --- go get and education or a trade. Either way, at least you'll bring something to table other than your lunch and your cell phone.

Can't make ends meet on what they are paying? What the hell are you spending your money on, anyway? Oh yeah, 100 bucks a month for your phone, five bucks a day just for your lunch, a jaunt out to the casino a few times per month, 50 bucks a week for a bar bill, etc., etc.

Spend your money wisely or get a second job or a second girlfriend to support your stupid habits. Your first girlfriend can't handle your habits on her own.

I agree that everyone wants more money, but if you make the price of producing the gun higher than customers are willing to pay you will see layoffs. It may be a gamble worth taking especially for tier one employees.

By the end of the 5 yr contract, we will actually be losing money and paying the company! Figure it out people. This contract is no good! Lowest paid gun manufacturers in the COUNTRY but yet were the biggest? Why not just leave our pay where it is and lower our medical?

I would vote yes even if they cut my pay. I get all the over time I want. My foreman is a nice guy.
A few months ago Remington bought us pizza and all the coke we wanted. In the summer we had a very nice picnic which i won a Remington hat. My night foreman lets me take 20 minutes to smoke if i give him 30 pieces more than the day guy. one hand washes the other. My girl friend doesn't have to wash my clothes. Remington does it for me.If i don't have work on Otsego Street my boss lets me run other jobs in the 66 building for more over time money. most of the time i try to bet the day shift numbers. Next month I will celebrate 1/2 year and my foreman said that i should be made a foreman soon. Best place I have ever worked. Not a bad job for a 19 year old. Glad i didn't join the army now.

I wonder why they wouldn't just reword the Job Security section to state those certain models had to stay within 100 miles of the current plant. If they really plan on keeping the plant in this area it should have been no problem. This contract paves a four lane highway for them to get the plant out of Ilion and out of New York. The threats of moving will no longer be just threats.
This is what all of you need to be worried about!!!! Get that job security section back in!!!
