Only in America can one live better than many who work full-time. Of course, I'm not stating that they live better than many, but when one adds up everything they get, including medical coverage, they do live better than someone making ten bucks and hour on a forty-hour week, and that my friend, ain't too bad.

They need to get control of this mess because I am sick of seeing people on welfare buy better food than I buy, along with the potato chips, pies, pizzas, and all the other crap they buy. Then they turn around and buy two packs of cigs with twenty bucks cash.

Am I freaking missing something with this picture. As far as I am concerned, we gave them twenty bucks too much in food stamps if they can afford two packs of cigs for twenty bucks. Or another way to look at it, we taxpayers bought them their cigs.

I've seen this time and time again. Many times in Stewart's. I call them out right in public --- right there at the checkout. They don't like it and scream at me, but guess what --- I couldn't care less. I out them right in front of everyone in the store.

Maybe we all ought to take this approach. Everytime you see someone with food stamps buying junk with the stamps or buying cigs or beer with cash, out them. After all, it's OUR money they're spending...

Sounds like Mona is the one with the twenty bucks buying cigs after using her food stamps on junk food.

I think those darkies down near Remington Elem. need to get out of dodge. There are a couple more around town and they're making the taxes higher with their scummy homes and vicious pitbulls (they all have 'em) and taking our taxes and using food stamps on shit that food stamps aren't intended for. Honest white working men such as myself are afraid to move into a town with a growing black population.

Please trust the fact that I do know the correct way to spell amused. However, I spell it that way because the 'zz' is because half of the stuff on this site actually amuses me and the other half puts me to sleep. I am much more clever that you have given me credit for.

Sad that you think you are clever because you spell 'amused' wrong. Try reading a newspaper, you might actually learn something outside of your little welare bubble.

Can you please explain how anything I've said made it sound like I was a whiny b*tch? I just said it must be nice. I didn't say that I was sad because I couldn't do it to. I would want to live like that honestly. I like knowing that I have a paycheck coming in and money to take care of myself and my kids. I don't have to depend on the government or a man. I do it on my own. If anything, I feel pretty good about that. I do feel sorry for the people that don't have the will power to get off their a$$ and make something more out of their lives than the valley and topix.

Oh, Mona, Mona. I probably pissed on your shoes at one time or another. Know what? I couldn't care less. First, this is not about single moms, but if they are part of the problem that I have pointed out, then so be it. Being a single mom doesn't give you the right to blow our hard-earned paycheck on junk for yourself OR your kid.

Secondly, it sounds like I struck a nerve. No honest, hard-working individual who has a sizeable chunk of their paycheck to support scammers with housing, food and medical benefits better than most of us have are going to speak against what I am stating. Why would they?

Go out there and work your tail for forty or fifty hours a week then watch someone blow your money on junk, then watch them pull out a twenty dollar bill to buy cigs so we can support them later in life when they need a new lung or have heart surgery.

Sounds like a losing proposition for the American taxpayer, doesn't it?

Mr. Vigilante, one thing that you dumbass rednecks don't understand is that if you don't make a lot of money, you aren't paying a lot of taxes. If you make a whole lot of money, you don't have to pay anything. There in lies the rub. BTW, tax rates for the commoners are the lowest since the Eisenhower years! People who look for trouble will certainly find it! GL!

And what you don't see to comprende is that no matter what I pay in taxes, it shouldn't go to someone who just blows it any way they feel fit. If I made a million year and paid only a penny in taxes, that penny I paid should go toward a worthy cause, like a loaf of bread or a quart of milk ---- not a boxed pizza or a bag of chips or a cake or pastries or Cheetos, or any junk. It's not a matter of how much is paid in taxes --- it's how it's waste on people who find a way to milk the system. Why the hell should I pay ANY tax if it's going to support someone who doesn't spend it wisely.

Maybe the "rub" will be when you bust your proverbia nut to put food on the table and a roof over your head then go out and watch someone blow YOUR tax dollar on crap. Maybe then, and probaby ONLY then, will you get the "rub". And I got your "vigilante" right here, babe. And one more time, here's the "rub"...

Wow! I've never seen a simple line from the Bard, in this case used as an idiom, translated into a sexist and misogynist ramble. Simply amazing! Your wife, girlfriend or boyfriend certainly has a real gem! There are many Americans who are fully employed that receive assistance. Keep up your keen Consumer Advocate work.

I know that I take care of what I need to take care of in my life.
