not to mention,
"The contract announcement came two days after a group of state lawmakers met with Remington officials who told the legislators that the company plans to spend $20 million upgrading its gun manufacturing plant in Ilion."

It's not as great as you may think. It's a 10 year contract. That's only 8 mil and 500 guns in a year. Not exactly straining capacity.

It's a great deal for the company.$8,000,000/500=$16,000 .00 each. And it being a ten year contract to build them in ilion, leaves most employees feeling a sense of relief ,knowing Remington most likely will be in ilion for at least ten more years. Why do you feel it's not so great?
