stealing lug nuts from a large tuck can be very dangerous if that tire falls of and runs into oncoming trafic it could very well kill someone even the truck driver. and the alibi about the bet im sure is just that a story to make it appear to be some kind of juvinile prank. however given a mans propencity to lie and steal and a look through his rap sheet reveales the truth to the officers that it was just a robbery at 1:30 in the morning by thief looking to profit by illeagal means. Quite possible there is more to this story, possibly a string of this type burglaries wheras a individual suspected in other crimes of this nature is under survealance and allowed to be caught in the act. the DA i'm sure will look at the facts and justice will be done

Lets hope so he seems to get away with everything-
just when you think that no one can go any lower than to steal from a dying man's benefit--he steals lug nuts off from trucks and could kill a man just trying to make an HONEST living. just how low can you go?

If it was a bet why not go to the parts store and buy them and show the guy and collect your money. even a crook could figure that out.

Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard! It doesnt work like that. The charge would be based on the value of the item not what some moron would be willing to pay him based on a wager! Besides the police wouldnt know anything about a bet when he was charged.

Dont get me wrong...I am not defending anyone. He deserves probably much worse than what he will get, but what kind of idiot even comes up with a story like that..........and worse yet...who would actually repeat it!
