Cops went to all three bars last night. A bunch of underage at jds and cacciatores. Wasn't it Jds that was busted a year ago for a bartender selling coke to an undercover? And how about the long standing coke and gambling with the Cacciatores? Who was busted for what?????

that may very well be true. But its largely because your crowds are MUCH MUCH smaller than either Cacciatores OR JDs. You dont have any new customers at Crossways, while JDs and Cacciatores each had 60+ people on Friday night.
Crossways bartenders know all the customers, no one but the nasty regulars will go there anymore. Of course there weren't any new faces to ID.

Its very hard to id everyone in that large a crowd. Guess both Joeys should put 2 bartenders on through the weekends.

Sorry not a regular and crossways did have a large crowd that night! I was there! All the kids go to jd's because they know they can be served. It was bound to happen.

There is never any excuse to serve a minor. There are many buisnesses that are extremely busy who don't serve minors. Id at the door if you have to.21 and over perhaps?

ILION, N.Y.(WKTV)- Multiple people have been charged following Alcohol Beverage Control Law Compliance Checks at locations in the Village of Ilion.
On March 19, Village of Ilion Police conducted ABC Compliance Checks at seven locations that sell alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption. On March 25 and March 26, Ilion Police were assisted by an investigator from the New York State Liquor Authority in conducting ABC Compliance Checks at three local establishments within the Village of Ilion that sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.
Police said Crossway's Tavern was found in compliance with the ABC Law, and no violations were noted there.
At J.D.'s Creekside Lounge, Ilion Police arrested the bartender - Lewis D. Hoage, Jr., 57, of Frankfort - charging him with two counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after he was seen selling alcoholic beverages to two customers who were under the age of 21. He was arraigned before a Village Justice and later released after posting cash bail in the amount of $1,500. He is scheduled to return to Village of Ilion Court on April 14 at 5 p.m.
Also arrested at J.D.'s Creekside Lounge during an unannounced ABC Law Compliance Check was a customer - David M. Bennett, 25, of Ilion. He was charged with one count of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after police say he provided alcoholic beverages to another customer who was under the age of 21. He was released on an appearance ticket, returnable in Village of Ilion Court at 5 p.m.
Police said there were an additional three customers located and charged at J.D. Creekside Lounge, who were under 21 years of age and found to be in possession of alcoholic beverages. All three individuals were issued appearance tickets for the violations and released at the scene. They are due to appear in Village of Ilion Court at later dates.
Since the bartender was the only employee working at the time of the unannounced ABC Law Compliance Checks at J.D.'S Creekside Lounge, and he was arrested for serving to those underage, the bar was immediately closed and all remaining customers were directed to leave.
There were other violations seen within the establishment, which police said are being handled by the Investigator for the New York Sate Liquor Authority. The Investigator will be following up with the owner of the bar concerning those violations, which included permitting smoking and improper payroll books (as the bartender was paid under the table by the owner).
Another bartender was arrested following a similar but separate check at Cacciatore's Bar in Ilion. Bartender Rebecca L. DeLong, 29, of Ilion, was charged with one count of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after police said she served alcoholic beverages to a customer who was under the age of 21. She was arraigned before a Village of Ilion Justice and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to return to Village of Ilion Court on April 14 at 5 p.m.
Due to additional employees readily available to serve the customers at Cacciatore's Bar, the establishment remained open for business after the bartender was arrested.
One customer at Cacciatore's Bar was charged with the violation of unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage by a person under the age of 21. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is due in Ilion Court at a later date.

Why is it one bartender gets arrested as another doesn't? Seems like favoritism! Just because shes a DeLong doesn't mean she deserved not to get into trouble and get sent to jail! One has a bail of 1500.00 and the other gets released.....come on thats total bs she probably blew all the cops like she does Joey!

well let me tell ya if you are gonna be narcs, Deb and Magoo, don't be so obvious. Deb sits her skanky ass at JDs every night , 7 days a week. And the one night the bar she works at is raided she isnt there! and you magoo, braggin how you are gonna take the other bartenders down so your *ahem* girl can et more hours with the other out of the way, not so smart.
As for all the bars getting raided, good cover to come down on JDs. you azzholes keep your selves at Cways with all the other trash. They knew the raid was coming, so of course there weren't minors in there.
