It's either the North Fork San Jacinto River...OR my first guess-the waterfalls that are on the water district property clearly posted NO TRESPASSING. That's probably why she didn't say where! There are actually quite a few waterfall spots around Hemet! Yes People we have hidden Gems. Massacre Canyon is TRASHED. Alot of people go up there. They leave all their trash and S**t everywhere. Idiots. I think I'll start me a thread about that!

I think that is a dandy idea. Unfortunately, if these slobs don't have their mommies to tell them what to do, they act like fools. Trash anywhere they choose to throw it. Seems nobody wants to be responsible for themselves, and wreck it for everybody else.

You have to cross their property, but you could park off campus and walk.

The waterfalls are in San jacinto when driving to san jacinto it is first exit it coming down the hill to San Jacito make left drive under the freeway pass as if you were going to the casino and about one mile you will see a big tree on your right where everyone parks there car on and on your left cross the hwy on your left whereyou see the railings and its a dirt road anyway hike down then hike up until it ends and you will see the first waterfall and if you hike up the rocks there is another water fall note there maybe more falls however I never went pass fall 2 and don't forget to bring water on your hike enjoy and post picture Renee Soto. PS there are more water falls in Hemett Calif and if you like to know where abouts look me up on facebook Renee Soto

There are other falls in Hemett as your driving from Hemett to Idyllwild however your right hiker and it would be a bad idea to go because there is No Trespassing .....however.I have been myself and mind you the water is always cold even if its hot and we all know it gets pretty hot out here in Hemett anyway the water is sping water and there is a water whole at the end of your hike and let me tell you that's a long hike back but when you get there you will love it and don't forget your water and lunch..............have a nice hike from Renee Soto

Yes off Highway 74 are the water district area waterfalls. On your way up idyllwild. Good luck...you get in alot of trouble if you get caught! And Massacre Canyon is off Gilman Hot Springs road. A girl died there a few summers back. The rocks are slippery and its hard to climb them. I once saw a huge mexican family (babies and all) try to climb those damn things....not safe! So again, Good Luck!

especially in the pouring rain as was the main contributing factor in my friends death, those falls in the rain are extremely dangerous to hike in the rain the ground get's too soft . Just DON"T DO IT,choose a safer climb (like forrest falls)

I remember that.
I don't think that was the main factor.
Rip Mike.
Last time I took my quad up there I got shot at by gang bangers.
Haven't been up there in over 10 years.
