What is going on at this hospital? I always go to Riverside Community or Parkview because our doctors are in the City of Riverside. But the few times I have been rushed to this Hemet Hospital's E.R. by ambulance, it seems that the doctors want to address the type of pain medications you are taking instead of the reason that brought you to their Emergency Room. I understand that there might be a problem with drugs in this city, but not everyone that goes into that hospital has a drug problem. This type of behavior on the part of the staff at this hospital interferes with you obtaining quick and proper care. What really gets to me, is the fact that they see you for 2 minutes and are making judgment on you without knowing your medical history.

Until this hospital addresses its internal problems, the residents that need its services will never be able to obtain the proper treatment they need. We all need to flood their Administrative Offices with complaints regarding this issue

It has nothing to do with having "better insurance". Hemet's only hospital is not worth a crap . You can forget going there on the weekends. ALL the white trash/ghetto ... blanks blanks come there to socialize and get their weekend fix for pain medications. You walk in there ...and there all standing outside, socializing ...inside will be like 50 people and believe me I am barfing my guts out and they do not look sick at all!!

So that big deal about the buy out and restructure didn't help at all? How's that new Loma Linda off the 215 in Menifee? Anybody have anything to say about that? It should only be about 20 minutes to get there?

^^^^I have been to Hemet hospital in the past and had some of the same experiences as the posters above. I am a Kaiser patient and only use other hospitals when it is urgent enough that I cannot drive to Riverside. My husband got really sick one night and we did not want to go to Hemet hospital so we drove to Loma Linda in Menifee. First off, the wait was very minimal, and there were no trashy ghetto people loitering around. My husband was seen in triage withing 15 minutes and immediately taken back to a room and cared for. We were literally in and out in a few hours. To top it off, they brought tablets to our room AFTER his care was over to collect our insurance information. We had a really good experience there.

Worst place in the world..heaven forbid if the ambulance drivers tell you you have to go there as the closest hospital...the nurses are bitches and you will die there..warning..escape if you can...se
curity will surround you and won't let you out.
Where should a person go to complain? I wanted to go to another hospital and was kept there until I escaped..had to run for the nearest exit...with security running after me...I wanted another hospital..they are crazy there.

Patient right #1....you have a right to refuse service.
you have a right to demand to go to another hospital.
Always tell AMR to avoid HVH/PHH. PLUS demand nurses and doctor to speak clear ENGLISH

Yup, that's what we were told. They had to take us to the nearest hospital to stabelize. Then Hemet did such a crap job of xrays and tests, when we did get the transfer to Loma Linda, they had to be done again. I think they just kept us there to run up a bunch of bills. Could hardly get anybody to help at Hemet. When the ambulance came to transport, those EMT's showed more concern then we were given at Hemet. When we arrived at Loma Linda in the middle of the night, we were met by three nurses. Go figure!

they MUST take you where you want to go...thats your right....they broke the law by refusing to take you there. I guess they wanted to just dump you off and have a smoke.

Oh please!! Kaiser also sucks. Had many bad experiences with Kaiser. And I went to the ER on a sat and was in and out within 2 1/2 hrs. I think The opening of many other clinics like the green Apple are making the waiting time less. And i speak for my self, but i had good service.
