BEWARE. this company is a scam. they are sending students to homes to sell magazines and then your checking account will be charged every month for various different companies. When you try to call you get a rude operator who doesn't seem to know who she works for or how to get in touch with them. Or at least she says she isn't at liberty to give out that information. I, along with many others it seems, have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
American Cash Awards is the scam. Check them out on the BBB website.

And you learned how to spell where? For your information, I did read the fine print. The company has refused to honor what they printed. However, if I had the intelligence that you seem to portray I do believe I would have made something of myself. An English or Grammer teacher perhaps?

No, I do not like making fun of anyone or making snide comments at the expense of others as you have done. However, I do believe that if you actually do have a learning disability, wasting time on the internet and making comments that are immature clearly is not the most valuable way to help better yourself. Perhaps a dictionary would be better suited for someone with your spelling problem.

Richy B.I.T.C.H.? Well, no, that isn't my lifestyle. I have never been rich, nor am I today. I did have the good sense to realize that I wanted an education so that I could make a better life for myself. I support any opportunity of education which is why I was glad to help the young student who came to my home selling the magazines. He had hopes of a trip that would offer him a chance to see other cultures and hopefully gain more respect for the life and the opportunities we are given here in our country. What do you hope to accomplish by "doing what were (we're is the correct spelling) doing"?

If the kids on here actually worked for this company please give me a phone number for syn inc. The only number I can find is an outsourced customer service and they are completely rude. If this truely was an outsourced customer service group they would provide a phone number to the actually company for any escalations. Think about it you own a company and outsource customer service....you would want to know if anyone has issues with the outsourcing company. After all it is your reputation and company on the line here not theirs. The kids that came to my door said they were collecting money that would go to support the troops (they would get points for college) and completely lied about everything for me to find out that all this is about a magazine scam. To anyone hearing about this story if they show up at your door call the police.

A young lady came to my door today saying that she had a disability ADD/ADHD,and that she was working with an organization that would help her and other kids that were disadvantaged or had disabilities. So being a mother I was more than willing to help her and other kids out. I live in a nice area had bought things from kids and other door to door salesman with no problems. She said that she was working with a company that was affliated with the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. Asked if she could come in so I let her in to fill out the paperwork. What raised my suspicions was that every question that she asked regardless of the answer was an automatic response of "Oh, that doubles my points! Thanks so much let me write that down!". Also once in my home I noticed that she smelled like stale cigarettes and beer. This let me know that she could not have been a young high school girl looking for an educational opportunity, and that this was a scam or possibly a robbery casing. So I did not purchase any subscriptions. Please beware.

I worked for Jays crew 508 same as the zach kid on here who's also joined with Sunny's crew 217 this is a complete scam if the kids are not stealing your cash orders your not getting your magazines either way. they go from sleazy motel to sleazy motel. They lie and use cheesy jokes, and are very persistent. Some use hardcore drugs like crack and methamphetamines to stay "positive" during the day or to party at night. But at the same time its not the kids at your doors fault sometimes their just poor confused kids with nowhere left to turn and got brain washed by very good sales clowns.

so for those of you that are saying it is not a scam you just didnt cancel in time... i sent my cancellation in the morning after i gave the check (since the guy knocked on my door to sell me a magazine at 9pm) and they still took money out of my account and what do you know i never got a magazine....there is no number to call anyone and all you can find on the internet are sites like this about what a scam it is. Now i am out 63.00 plus the overdraft fee since i cancelled it due to the fact that i wrecked my car and had to pay for a rental and now i have to go to the bank to change everything....Way to go Syn Inc you got me!

Last night, two girls came to my door. They asked to come in to fill out the paperwork and use the restroom. This morning, two of my diamond rings were missing. My engagement ring being one of them. No one else was at my house last night but me. I did file a police report.
