These kids were generally good kids. Until they got into drugs. The boy is at the moment out and free. But the girl is in a Juvinille place type thing. It's not right. Seth Wilburn should be locked away just as well as the 17 year old is. But his day is coming. When his trial comes around he deserves to be put away just as long as she did. Maybe longer. I'm not saying drugs made them do this. But it's a big part of why they did it. Many prayers we're answered by this though. The church is getting a new church, the boy and girl will now learn a lesson. It's different things like this that makes us all open our eyes. But do not judge these kids until you know them personally.
Sincerely,
Iknowthempersonally.

They should be involved in building the church back. Every day someone is working on the new church, these two should be there until the church is completed.
You can't make people in jail work. Its not right to make them do something good. If they had been working the church would still be there

I am the mother of the male involved in this crime. He spent an entire year of his life in rehab due to drug use and yes he along with the girl that was involved have learned their lesson I am sure. I am so thankful for great friends and family who really know them personally and had for those who did not know them at all that have been supportive to them. Things have worked out just as God planned and I am so glad that we can talk to God in the present and not have to wait until ONE DAY!
My son has been drug free now for 2 1/2 years and is and has had the opportunity to work on the church. He has been paying restitution and recieved 3 years probation. This event has been traumatic to the families of the victims as well as the youth that were involved. Putting something like this behind you isn't easy. This is especially hard for two involved in the crime because as someone here in this forum said, "they WERE generally good kids." Considering that good children rehabilitated from drug use and a mistake like this have to work to put this completely in the past and embrace the future. Mrs. Bonnie Easler is a gracious woman and responsible for the initial path to recovery for these two young people. Thank You

Im Seth Wilburn's dad. Seth has always worked. When the two kids made this bad mistake he was waiting to go get his check from work. The grugs they were on came from the girls moms house. They were so messed up that Seth dont remember getting arrested and OD at the jail. Seth has helped rebuiled the church. We were invited to their first service, and Seth was there. I watch him all the time working over time just trying to make ends meet paying his restitution. Both the kids made a very bad mistake, and i have just read all the judgments on here. First of all the only one that can judge anyone is GOD, NOT U! Seth works hard and is a good young man. Everyone makes mistakes and both kids did. I just think God for Bonnie Easler for being a Godly woman and standing up for Seth in Court,or he would be in prison for 20 yrs right now. He has got clean ever sence this happened, and has pulled his life together. Sometimes God works in strange ways. Yes it was wrong what the two kids did,but there is a new Church now where the ...over 100yr old Church was, and two kids have got their lifes on the right track. Do not Judge a situation unless you know the facts, and NEVER JUDGE A PERSON UNLESS YOU THINK YOU ARE GOD! We will all be judged one day.
