Everybody benefits!!! Its really a great system. The police get to confiscate cash and toys. The prison system gets paid by the taxpayers to house these dope peddlers. The politicians have a platform to stand on in which they can buy votes and spend money to their law enforcement constituency. The medical profession benefits by treating the dope addicts for their addiction. The drug dealers have less competition to worry about. Finally, the children of the dope addicts are able to be ripped away from their parents and put into foster homes until they turn eighteen when they can repeat the cycle.
