ok there is big scary dogs that people dont have on chains ruining up and down main street chasing kids when they try to go by.i thought if you had a dog you had to secure it in your yard.this one dog hasnt bite no one yet but its showing teeth and one day it will and some poor kid will be hurt.kids walk all over this town.if you have a dog that chases them, why dont you put it in a fence.there should be a law against big animals running around scarying children and some adults.also what up with all the bull dogs, some of them are running lose.why hasny someone done something?

Report them. That oughtta help. If not, find a way to capture him and turn him in, yourself.

There are problems like that everywhere. When I was pregnant with my youngest, I was walking my dog (part chow/german shepherd) on a leash in the neighborhood (it was a mobilehome park) and, a neighbor, who also had a chow, used to leave their gate wide open for the dog to get loose and threatening people. When we were walking by, the dog came charging out of the open-gate driveway and started in on my dog. Had I not found a way to stop the fight, my dog would have undeniably killed the other dog (trying to protect me).

I doubt if I would have been successfully sued had that happened, since even the managers had problems with those people containing their dog but, I was clearly upset that my pooch was put in that position. We also have leash laws.

Dog owners really need to keep a cap on their dogs, especially if they know their dog is a menace to others.

I hope your situation gets resolved.

You may have to take official action of some kind.
