I am tired of the junk at Magic Mart in Welch. Last time I was there, the cookies I purchased turned out to be expired. This is not the first time I have had bad experiences with this place!

The employees are nasty to customers...when you TRY (notice I said try) to return something they act like you are asking for a kidney instead of a simple refund. I finally negotiated a gift card in the amount of my refund. That was the last time I was in that store. I go to the Magic Mart in Oceana. The employees are so nice and very helpful. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE, give them a try.

Gosh, I have to agree about their return policy..its like pulling teeth to return or exchange anything there. Other than that though I love Magic Mart. Their stuff is a lot better than Wal-marts or K-Marts, ecspecially their cloths. The only store around that sells Levis..

I've taken back different things. Never had any trouble with returns. One girl was pretty nasty one day to me. But, then after that she was ok....Use to work there. Had to put up with a lot of junk from the public. I use to be one of those disgruntled customers, till I had to put up with it when I worked there. Now I have a little sympathy for workers. But, this is just my opinion...

One of the last times I was in Magic Mart, I went to the checkout counter and the lady told me that she was closed. Well I look around and there was no other register open to check out at except the jewelry department. When I go to the jewelry department to check out I notice that the woman who told me she was closed is checking a man out that was behind me. Talk about being mad, I was furious.

Sally I was wondering if you went to work somewhere else, I noticed I haven't seen you in Magic Mart in a while.

On second thought there was a manager SMOKING very close to the propane storage area. That could have caused a bang ,but smokers have their rights, you know.

Well Magic should be tip top because they are a small company anyways and people may just go to even bigger chain stores.

I have also interacted with the public during my 43 years in the work force. I treat people the way I want to be treated. The employees at the Magic Mart in Welch are RUDE. They need to be trained in customer relations by the person who supervises the sales staff at the Oceana Magic Mart. Please notice in my post I mentioned that I not they negotiated a gift card in the amount of my return...she did NOTHING to make me a "Happy Customer". I don't go in that store anymore, I visit the one at Oceana. Now I can say I am also a happy customer.

I very seldem shop at magic mart for this reason, the last time that I returned a layaway there [not picked up yet] they charged me 25 dollars, I understand they may loose money on returned merchandise but 25 dollars is a bit much. I also understand that this is store policy and not the fault of the employees.

To me, all of the so called 'marts' are not as good as they used to be. Full of foreign made junk and not as cheap dollar wise as they say they are in most cases.

Magic Mart has to follow Bluefields rules on return policies. If you dont have your receit, then you tell them around the date you purchased it, and what else you purchased, and they can look your sell up that way. They dont mean to be ***holes, (maybe some do) but most of the time they just try to follow the rules. They have had people to steal clothing and stuff and bring it back in and try to trade it or get money back from the items stolen. The restroom do get nasty. But its not the employees fault that the public thinks it funny to crap in the floor and smear it everywhere, and put toilet paper all over the place. They check that when they can. And if they are busy then it just has to wait.
I love magic mart

I won't shop at Magic Mart due to the fact that during the flood, people were stranded because they couldn't get through the underpass. When they came back to the store, they were ushered out, doors locked behind them. Tony, at Goodson's, ushered people INSIDE, then he and employees fed them and gave them shelter until help could arrive. Magic Mart, having clothing, mattresses, blankets.....call it my singular protest, but boycott I will.
