Gena Melton jailed for DUI and endangering child.

This is what she was arrested for in July. She was out on bond and they found her in the wooton apartment's,she had overdosed and they took her to the hospital and then to the ARH to the pyschiatric /dry out ward for two weeks. I guess that got her cleaned out. From there straight on to LC detention center. I wonder how long they will keep her there? However long,it wont be long enough. It's a wonder she hasn't killed the little girl. It sure took them long enough. The child has never been in a car seat and Genia is alway's high everytime you see her and the child sitting on the console. She takes her into stores and steals stuff and hides it on the little girl. She has been caught in several stores shop lifting and the stolen stuff would be hidden on the child,that's how she would get out of it. She was caught at the Dollar store several years ago stealing. She was arrested and plead guilty. Maybe this time they will take the child before she wrecks and kills it or somebody else. She was still out high driving it around even after she was arrested for endangerment of a minor. The law alway's turned a blind eye until this time. Maybe they decided they would save the childs life. Her parents need to take the child and raise it,thats the only hope the child has. All it's ever known is watching Genia get high and being taught to steal. She is a beautiful little girl who deserves better than Genia. I wonder if the Social Services will get involved and make sure this doesn't happen again. They weren't even called when she was arrested for endangerment. Isn't that the law,that they have to be called in a case of this nature. They just let the family come and pick up the child. I am by no means saying that her family shouldn't have gotten the child,but shouldn't the Social Services also been called that night to investigate and file a report/complaint against Genia. Something better be done before it's to late to save the child from serious injuries or worse....... death.

What is getting on here and slamming Gena going to help? All this is doing is spreading gossip...unless you are the arresting officer it's just hear-say, hopefully you aren't the one who arrested her. How is this helping that little girl. So she can grow up and hear people talk about her mother? She may need better care, but this isn't going to get it for her...

Most family members know what other family members are doing. Some may tell,some choose not to. Some of it is public knowlegde,some of it is first hand knowledge. I tend to believe what I see.

I saw Gina the a few days ago she looked really good. She is a wonderful person and would never put any child in any danger, especially her own. This is all a bunch of slandering gossip thats it. Small towns are known for this. It's amazing that 90% of the people on this sight even have internet service, "white trash".

I know her, I know her family and I know how she is. I have never been around her without her being high or something. Her parents are great people and need to take her daughter to protect her before something terrible happens or she gets taken by social services. She has a beautiful, smart little girl and hopefully she will let her love for her as well as her safety come before the drug problem that everyone knows she has.

Some guy named Larry Bruce is supposed to be the daddy. Thats what Gena told my cousin. I don't know his last name. The man's ex-wife Shady used to work at the food stamp office. I think her family owns Teague's medal. I don't know if I spelled that right. She has a brother named Todd. She said Dean couldn't be the daddy. Thats what she said. My cousin wouldn't lie about it,but she may have lied to her. Who knows what the truth is.
