I heard a rumbling and the house sort of shook, like when it thunders really loud, but I don't think any dishes rattled and nothing fell or broke.

9TH MAJOR QUAKE IN 9 DAYS: 6.1 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE STRIKES TONGA REGION OF SOUTH PACIFIC

Man has been proclaiming "the end is nigh" for 2,000 years. Quit trying to, and believing you CAN foresee it. Not the angels above, nor even the son, only the Lord God himself knows the time.

It's not like you can do anything to stop it. Nor should want to try.

that the plates that shields the hot melted rock in the middle of the earth, from the cooler earth crest is going to bump together some climb on top of each other sometimes .when they hit the softest and weakest parts of the earths crest will bust up and cave in .where large cities are the city is busy all the time all the activity the vibration of all the traffic and underground tunneling and all that wait stacked in one big place bust's the rocks crest and weakens it over time.the bible said there
would be earth quakes in diverse places .look at
that diverse what it means ,it is heavy populated
places that's the cities .and its very simple why
they will be hit by these quakes .
Honey you need to read the dictionary. Diverse doesn't mean heavily populated. The actual meaning of diverse is "different", period. So if the bible says there will be earthquakes in diverse places, it just meant in different places. Just like it is. That's one of the biggest problems with Christians. Every single one interprets the bible their own way. If you don't understand a word, you'll just make up a meaning, instead of looking it up. I know Christians who won't say "I swear" because the bible says not to swear. Well, swearing means cussing. So there's one example. And it's the same with saying "I bet" because you're not supposed to gamble. People use their own interpretation. If you talk to 5 Christians, all five will have a different take on something. And don't get me wrong, I believe in god and I was raised in a Christian household, but there have been earthquakes and natural disasters as long as the earth has been standing. Some a lot worse than anything we're seeing now. It's also amusing to see all the little armchair diagnosis from ppl who can't even spell it. There have been scientists who've actually gone into the earth, who have stood atop volcanoes, and studied the reasons for years and years, but all of you have figured out just exactly what causes it all from behind your computer, without ever seeing any of it in person. Most prob have never left the area. Scientists already KNOW what causes them. They can predict if they'll hit. Theyre just working on ways to prevent. And like I said, I believe in god and the end of days, but ppl have been saying it's near for a thousand years. In fact, nobody will know, not even the angels in heaven. Also, some of you keep saying you hope it's not the end, but a true Christian, who's ready to go, would be HAPPY to see the end of days, because it means they get to see their lord. I guess that might tell you something.

to be more polite. we don't get rude on this thread. I am a true Christian and no, I do not want it to be the "end of days" because the world is not ready. People, many. many people, would be lost. I can spend time with my lord whenever I want, as long as he allows it. I don't have to be in Heaven to do that. Now, that might tell YOU something.

I wasn't being impolite, just Stating what I think. I didn't get mean with anybody, but if you're going to talk about a subject on topix, at least know what you're talking ABOUT.and I didn't say everybody was saying they hope the end wasn't near for selfish reasons, I said SOME were. And that's
true. You'll also notice that I said in several places that I believe in god and was raised to be a Christian. Are you one who doesn't wanna hear anybody unless they agree with everything you say? It's true that a lot of Christians interpret the bible the wrong way and all that does is confuse those who want to learn about the bible and go to church. So if it makes me rude to question when I hear somebody giving the wrong information, then I guess I am.
