Hello everybody, we are putting up this posting to let everyone know that Jeff Baker Sr. passed away early July 4th. There will be a viewing on Thursday at the Ross & Ruth Baker Community Center at 1P.M. to 2 P.M. with burial immediately after. However there is no money to pay for a burial to honor his final wishes. We the family are requesting donations in lieu of flowers to pay for this. Checks can be made out to the Pulaski Funeral Home, cash is greatly appreciated and will be accepted at the Community Center. If you prefer to pay with cash we will give you a reciept. The family really appreciates the entire communities suport honoring our beloved Father.

Jeff was a very kind person...I was told that I had cancer about 4 weeks after he found he had cancer and I will never forget the 1st treatment that I had at Markey Cancer Center..I was in my hospital bed wondering if this stuff was gonna kill me and feeling very alone... The phone rang and I picked it up and it was Jeff standing at the nurses station because I wasn't allowed vistors and he talked to me for an hour..I went from being very afraid to laughing until I cried..He was such a funny man...To his boys..He loved you guys very much and don't let this sad time make you forget what a wonderful and funny man he was...

Jeffery Curtis was a very good gentleman and wonderful cousin. I have so many wonderful memories of him. I think what I want to remember most is his infectious laugh. I loved to hear that man laugh! I haven't seen Jeff but one time since my Uncle Pappy died. I feel so very blessed that Heavenly Father gave me good times and memories of this wonderful man! I just found out he died @ 12:09 and his funeral is within a hour. I am sad but I know there is a happy reunion with Ross,Ruth and David Ross today. I salute you Jeff and say my goodbyes! Your cousin, Mary Belle

Mary Belle, You are absolutely right, his laugh was infectous, and his smile would light up the darkest crowd. I missed his service, and I am so sorry that I did. But being the fisherman he was he would have understood that I had no way of hearing the news, I was on the lake. Jeff thanks for all the great memories, you will be missed my friend.
