I know the economy is bad and the times are hard, plus there's not many jobs available around Hyden. So....I've been looking around on the internet for ways to make some extra money and I thought I would share what I found with everyone else. As you probably already know, most of the online money making opportunities are scams. But I did find one website that is legitimate and you can make a little extra money. The name of the site is CashCrate. I can tell you right now, you won't get rich, but you can make a few extra dollars. Just in the last 10 days, I've made $33. I know that's not much, but I only spend about an hour on it every day and every little bit helps in today's economy.

Last month I made over $68 in my spare time. And for anyone that don't believe it, I will post a picture of a check to prove that they do pay and it's not a scam. Just click on the link at the bottom to see a picture of the check. Cashcrate pays by check every month as long as you make, at least,$20 in your account. If you don't make at least $20, it will roll over to the next month when you reach $20, you will receive a check. But I'm sure you will make more than $20 the first month like I did. You can make money a few different ways on CashCrate. Just look at the list below to see the many ways.

OFFERS: CashCrate pays you cash to complete offers. Some are trial offers and require a credit card, but most are free and cost nothing but a few minutes of your time to complete. The free offers usually pay out anywhere from .30 cents to $2 just for filling out a form and signing up, but some of the trial offers that require a credit card can pay up to $18 to $20 dollars. The trial offers are usually things like a month free trial of Netflix or something similar. All you have to do is cancel the subscription before the trial period is over and your credit card won't be billed. But, if you're like me and don't want to mess with the trial offers, you can still make money by doing the free offers. As a matter of fact, you can just do the free offers and make enough to reach the $20 payout every month.

SURVEYS: Cashcrate pays you to do surveys. Surveys are my favorite way to make money on Cashcrate and usually make up most of my earnings each month. Surveys pay anywhere from .50 cents to .80 cents apeice and there's 7 or 8 different surveys you can do every day. Sometimes, you won't qualify for a survey, but most of the time they will let you take another survey until you qualify. Just make sure you read each question and answer the questions honestly or they can disqualify you for that. Sometimes, they will tell you to pick a certain answer and if you don't, they will disqualify you so pay attention.

VIDEOS: Cashcrate will pay you to watch videos of advertisements. They usually only pay from .02 cents to .05 cents, but they're not very long and only take a few seconds to watch. Sometimes, there's bonus videos that you can watch and sometimes you can watch the bonus videos over and over and get paid each time you watch.

SHOPPING: Cashcrate has a list of online retailers and you get cash back each time you shop from those retailers.

PLAY GAMES: Cashcrate gives you the opportunity to earn points by playing games. You can save up the points and trade them for gift cards from various retailers.

CONTESTS: Cashcrate has daily contests and monthly contests. Sometimes, they have a contest where whoever makes the most money in a 3 hour period during the contest, will win prizes, such as a $50 amazon gift card for first place. There's usually about 10 different prizes, so even if you don't win first place, you have 9 more shots at winning. Also, during the contests, they have random trivia questions that you can answer and win cash prizes and points to be used in the prize shop. Sometimes, during the contests, they have drawings for cash prizes. I think the last drawing was for $100.
