Here lately there seems to be a lot of activity in the sky.No kidding,i think everyone needs to be aware of this. For the past few months i have noticed these faint moving red lights in the night sky. They have no flashing light like the FAA requires. They seem to be very high up like over 100,000-200,000 ft high and sometimes cange direction with very afast maneuvering, such maneuvering would tear modern aircraft apart..If you notice these let me know..

Usually after 10pm till day light. The best place to be is on a old strip mine or atop a isolated mountain.I just want people to see them so then they cant deny it,or think were crazy for seeing something that is actually there.

I stare at the sky almost every night for long periods of time and I don't ever see these red lights you speak of. When you are on a strip job and see planes that are miles and miles away it can make them look funny. It sometimes can make it look like the lights are not flashing. All you need is a good pair of binoculars and you will see that the lights usually are flashing.

thi reminded me of a ol ufo jk i fond on here

A flying saucer landed at a gas station on a lonely country road. The two space aliens inside seemed completely unconcerned about detection; in fact, the letters "UFO" were emblazoned in big, bold letters on one side of their shiny craft. As the station owner stood and gawked in silence, paralyzed with shock, his young blonde attendant nonchalantly filled up the tank and waved to the two aliens as they took off.

"Do you realize what just happened?" the station owner finally uttered.

"Yeah," said the blonde attendant. "So?"

"Didn't you see the space aliens in that vehicle?!"

"Yeah," repeated the blonde attendant. "So?"

"Didn't you see the letters 'UFO' on the side of that vehicle?!"

"Yeah," repeated the blonde attendant. "So?"

"Don't you know what 'UFO' means?!"

The blonde attendant rolled his eyes. "Good grief, boss! I've been
working here for six years. Of course I know what 'UFO' means
'Unleaded Fuel Only.'"

I just find it hard to believe when I watch the sky as much as I do. You need to invest in a good camera to capture that if you are really seeing it. Then post us some pics or even post a video on youtube. Let us know how it goes..

You know i have seen all kinds of pics and video of ufo activity. It can somehow always be dismissed for one reason or the other.I just thought it would be good to start this thread to get people to look in the sky for themselves and see it because once you see them yourself its hard to dismiss that. Also at night faint objects will not hardly show up on a camera that i can afford.Even news cameras dont pick these types of lights up were you can clearly see them.In fact when you watch a viedo of them you really cant tell what your looking at.So skywatcher thanks and keep watching...

Well I do not believe in UFO’s or aliens. However, there where a solar storm not too long ago and, according to SpaceWeather.com there are always some kind of activity going on in the sky. To be honest I have never seen or heard anyone say anything about the strange lights you see. You can’t always believe what you read on Topix. However, like you, said people well just have to look and they will have their own opinions.
