i am NEVER late on my payment. when we bought our home 6 years ago,,, our payment was 445.00 and now they have raised it to 765.00 they keep on saying that i am a month all the time and i had to hire a lawyer and they have requested a payment history, and they will not send it. they call all the time and talk mean to you and if they can't get up with you, they will call your neighbors and discuss your account with them. i think that they are evil and they must be destroyed. if your haven't had any problems with them, you are lucky.

I have had a loan through them for 4 years now. I haven't had a problem yet. My loans have increased only a few pennies, which is normal for the market we are in. Were you late on your payments?

well weve had them for about 8 years now and ours is on a fixed interest rate, we got it for 6.99%. so our payments are always the same. we've never been later than a couple days and i go ahead and send the late charge, which is only 5.00 and they never call me.

i have my house financed through them and they suck big time. i called them and asked them if i can send my payment in one day late, and they chewed me out. my child was in the hospital with a heart problem and they told me that my number one priority is to make my house payment on time. there was one time i was gone and they called me and couldn't reach me and they called my sister, and told her everything about my account, and that i had until a certain time to call them back or they will issue a foreclosure on my account. it got so bad that i had to hire an attorney to contact them and advise them not to talk about my account to other people or they will have a civil suite against them. I wonder how they stay in business. you can go to www.ripoffreport.com and type them in and you would be suprised what people are saying about them. i think that they need to out of business. they have a collector that comes around if you are a week late and his name is dennis and if he ever comes to your hous, i would advise you NOT to answer your door and call the law, because this man has an arrest warrent out for him for breaking and entering and for terrorist threat. now that are the kind of people that are at vanderbilt. they are nothing but EVIL.

I haven't ever dealt with Vanderbilt, but with GreenPoint. They are the worst if you are 1 day late they start calling and calling everyone on you app. I have sent our payment in every month I admit that I have been a few days late but never I have let it run over a month, they have threatened to take my home even though they had their money. It started with greentree and now it is green point just watch if you have to finace a mobile home try to steer clear of GreentPoint.
