vote out our elect judge jimmy sizemore who i heard this is hearsay so i dont know if its ture but i heard he had his son filling in for him but i dont no if this is true. doesnt matter. i havenot seen anything that he has done. not 1 improvement...oh, yeah everybody has gravel. there are so many grants and funding that we could be receiving in leslie county that could use the old hyden school for a facility for a safe house, rehab center, i mean there are so many possiblities that funding would definitely come in and do something there. we need a judge who does not have 4 workers at the rv park that does not have anything to do....that would save the county so much money. they could reconstruct therv park and atv system with the trails that bypass the coal they doing. We could get funding there. we could get funding to fix the county roads that go up into hollers... i dont know that sizemore has even put in for any tourism grants that could develop leeco where the horse thing is and use tourism funding to build cabins for tourists....the county is not making any money except for the jail.but he has his son working there too. they have state inmates and making money they say they are not yet we are all paying taxes for it.

it is time to get a judge that wants to bring Leslie County expansion. They have that land they use up there at the gravel pit is that the new garage or do they have 2 garages. why not tear one down or build upone it and put in a small pavilion for people to go and play ball, have yoga classes, or whatever. Why not use the land they are making into a tee ball field up at the rv park into an ampatheatre like jenny wiley and have local adults and children put on plays and have concerts and make a tee ball field at hyden elementry instead. all this is stuff that grants would be given to the county. just anything for the county so the youth and adults can have places to go and socialize and enjoy the facilities

someoby please run for judge and get rid of jimmy sizemore. he has not done anything. he could have open the jail if he had enough sense during his first years but had no clue how to and blamed it as a failure but now look at it....and we still paying for it. we need a judge who will work with the government to get funding for many many things to make leslie county a place people want to visit. but i heard he is under the weather and i pray for his health but i also pray for our county. Please somebody run for judge that has some sense. I wish Allen Muncy would run again but the county does not look at progress. They look at gravel. And the scandals that have been heard around town. i dont know if they true. But all i am saying jimmy sizemore is not a good judge and we need a judge who knows how to develop unused facilities and land and who has Leslie County Pride.

That is a very important problem in Leslie County.

Get rid of the judge executive and the Sheriff. Put someone in office that is smart enough to lead this county in the right direction. Get a Sheriff that works with Unite and the DEA to stop the drugs, not a Sheriff that works with the drug dealers and takes money on the side. If you want to know what the Sheriff does, look at his audit report. He is audited every year and every year he has a shortage in his tax account. He also has bad audits on his fee account every year. You can get a copy from the Judge Executive's office. It should be available for the public's use.

that this place just has so many issues that there is no one who can fix it, in my opinion. It's just misery to live here. You can't live in peace, even if you don't bother anyone they won't leave you alone and let you. This is just the craziest place I've ever seen.

We the people are sick of the coal trucks that cross the line on main st and endanger the lives of our citizens and their families. They have already hit a school bus at that red light. Ran countless cars onto the sidewalks. and when our law enforcement writes them up the judges throw it out. I think if being a friend of coal corrupts your judgment then you should resign from office and let someone who cares about their citizens safety step in to do the job properly.

I have miners in my family, truck drivers too. So this isn't an anti coal statement....Im sayin that these trucks should be held accountable for their violations of the law and traffic laws just like anyone else if not with more scrutiny due to the sheer fact that they would kill almost anyone they hit with them.

And if the local government wont do whats right the people will start handling this themselves.
Let me give you a scenario and I wont tell you what I would do because you make your own decisions.

But say you have children or grandchildren and they are traveling with you along main st and one of these trucks hits your vehicle and injures or god forbid kills that child. What are you prepared to do to make sure the SOB who ignored the safety of others to get more loads outs faster never harms another child or innocent person again? because the local justice system sure as hell isn't doin anything about it.

I wholeheartedly agree. People who feel differently ought to wait until one hits them and runs slick over them. They'll change their tune then. Driving a big huge truck means you should watch where you're going and pay attention, even more so than those driving regular cars and trucks.

having the wet vote again and having the judge to be for it would help.and a good sheriff that will have no big friends that get away with things and keeps the property tax straight.i remember when John was in i paid taxes twice one yr.and before you can get much done you need all on board the pva. the judge sheriff ,county clerk ,s clerk and county attorney and the mag.all these needs be one mind.then you can make progress.

If the business people of Hyden wouldn't have put in against the ramp and bypass, all those near hits from a coal truck would have been avoided and numberous wrecks at the bottom of the Spur avoided and maybe future lives saved.
