To qualify, you have to be poor. Alot of people need this assistance. The bad thing is, alot of scumbags take advantage of this assistance.

Yeah up on rockhouse where they sale firewood and coal...Doug buys it off those druggies for about half price.....I know 4 a fact and that is wrong especially for those who really need it....

I got a voucher at the end of April, it said it was good for 1 year on it. LKLP let chris pennington take it, at my request. Well, turns out I didn't use a single gallon off of it. I called Mary, chris' wife three weeks ago and asked her if they had kerosene in yet, she told me my voucher was gone and wasnt good for no year. they are the crookedest ppl i've ever dealt with. did u know chris charges 5% on all food stamp purchases under 5 dollars? AND....go ask Mary about a job there. They want to TRAIN you for two weeks without pay, after three months you're suppose to get your training money, but you DONT. I've worked in little stores and restaurants for 24 years, wth do I need trained, again? They're rip offs and I hope they do trace me, I'll show them my proof, IN COURT.

So how did they cash in my voucher, but I got nothing? It was 5 months old when I called Mary. They're croooooked. I wouldn't buy a pop there, on sale!

to the person who wrote this , you dont know the facts @ what you r saying. it states on the voucher "void after 60 days or may 15 whichever comes first." you can call lklp and they will tell you tis as well. no vendor for lklp will carry bal. on vouchers longer than that.if you look @ your copy and your voucher you will find it @ the center of the page in BIG BOLD LETTERS, im looking @ one as i type this .

if you singed the voucher, they had all rights to cash it in, it was your resp. to get your fuel in a timely matter. so you cant really call someone a crook for doing there job.and you not takeing care of your business. they took care of theirs.

I worked there and how do ppl that aren't crooks charge you for using a foodstamp card? Also, where is/was mine and the current employees PROMISED, traning pay? I was there for 7 years and never got mine. Chris drunk that up. I don't know about TODAY, but they used to reuse everything. He, well Mary would jump on you for not reusing garbage bags and the deep fryer oil was changed, ONLY when they told you to. ASK anyone that's ever worked there. YEP, Really honest. friendly people. The world should have more, just like them.
