I have had people from surrounding counties identify me as being from LC because of saying you'ens as in "You'ens going to the store?" I didn't believe it so I started listening to myself and others from LC and sure enough a lot of us say that. It is even used more so by the people from the Stinnett area of the county (area I grew up.)

I know this woman who went to a store in a big city to buy groceries, she looked at the clerk and asked do you have a poke to put them in? Needless to say they asked her where was she from, Kentucky?

The word "Well" is overly used here. Well how about that. Well I can't believe that. Well who said that. Tomorrow listen to yourself and see how many times you catch yourself saying it.
