I also read it and saw no sarcasm-seems to me that you have too much time on your independently wealthy hands, and very little common sense or tact. I guess it's easy to comment here without having to face anyone and say your negative nonsense.

Ox, you and I have butted heads here a time or 2. Message boards tend to polarize people because there is no true conversation. I think face to face discussions, even if people disagree, tend to much more interesting, and respectful. It's not as easy to behave badly when eye to eye, that applies to me as well as most people I have ever met.

She does not live in a mansion, and if by "Escalade", you mean a worn-down minivan, then yes, she drives one. How can you people assume she's rich? Factor in the increased cost of food due to gas prices, the cost of labor, utilities, etc, on TOP of her own house payments, children, and more. If she's to the point where she's selling season Hockey tickets to make sure we have a job, the LEAST I can do is donate some of MY time to HER. She never asked this of us, we CHOSE to go through with it.$60 of my time is nothing compared to what she has given us. I think it takes a seriously messed up individual to criticize someone for being kind.

I will have to agree with Andrew on this one. After everything she has done for us she deserves to be helped in every way possible. She paid to fix my car so i could continue to go to work. She is a awesome boss and person and i plan to continue to work for her for a long long time. Good looking out DREWSKI

Funny how Wall Street walks off with trillions, but workers have to give up their tiny wages - voluntary or not. Have fun in the coming Depression, dumb union-bashers!

Taco John's could solve the foreign-sourced oil dilemma - there's a commuter's week worth of oil in the taco "meat", and the beans add even more gas. Ever wonder why the mascots are a monkey and a dog?

To Eric B and Andrew R, you and your boss are lucky to have each other. Keep up the good work, there are obviously people out there who think you are nuts to do this, but I think this is a great thing on your part. Many people don't have jobs anymore, and for you and your co-workers to do what it takes to keep your place of employment open is an inspiration.

OX, you are wrong yet again. The Dem. dream has been realized. They passed the pork test. Now American will work, just to see their paychecks go to the government. They (Nancy and bandits) in turn will distribute to those they feel are worthy. Remember 30 million dollars are going to help the field mice in San Fran. They are worthy.

Hard working self supporting types need not apply.

You and your co-workers? Workers get paid. You and your co-slaves should start looking for EMPLOYMENT in a business that can withstand a recession. Failure to make payroll is a sure sign of business failure.

Your suggestions would be helpful to many I'm sure.
