Former mayor Marc Spivey worked hard on this aswell as the entire city councel. They have all accepted a job during a tough time for Hustonville. It was a grave mistake 25 years ago not wanting US127 to pass through behind(about where fire dept is). Another option would have put road closer behind school and crossing old 127 just below water towers. To many years mistakes have been made and now with traffic increasing on 78 theres talk that road may be due for a upgrade in next 10 years. Will we thing ahead, or miss out on another opportunity?

State fire Marshall proven right tonight. Finally we can get that road opened back up. All it took was a good rain to bring the building to the ground.once that back wall is down & that mess cleaned up we can get back to normal. Thanks to cheif Lane for his efforts in Frankfort to get something done with that unsafe building.

Iím surprised at you; do you not recognize art when you see it? lol Thousands travel to Hustonville every year from Louisville, Lexington, Nashville and Knoxville just to see this mess,(did I say that out loud) I mean the Castle.

Not only do they travel the distance but they even pay money to go inside. You get to see it on a daily basis at no charge; you lucky dog you, lol

Now keep your eyes on the road and quit forcing yourself to look at this mess,(excuse me, I meant to say this business).
If youíre looking to get off that couch and give up the check and food stamps it is "For Sale" the down side is, it comes with having to pay taxes so others like yourself can condemn those of us who work two or three jobs so you can live off the taxes we pay and our Government.

The Halloween season is over please be sure and return around Sept. and Oct we appreciate the extra attention. If theres one thing I have learned over the last 20 years in the Haunted House industry (besides it being a money maker) is that there is no such thing as bad advertisement lol.

Damn Danny are you really so stupid as to think anyone can live much less run a buisness on KY state right of way. Don't know what Fred busted you for that makes you hate him this much but get over it. You will feel better if you can put this behind you & move on with your life. HUSTONVILLE doesn't need your constant negativity. It is high time we had positive input or constructive criticism not your constant bashing.

Does it make as much money as the one you sold off main street. Kinda dirty to sell something like that then less then a mile away start building another one, then try to pass laws to run it out of business. I guess business ethics isn't your strong suite.
