Three die in weekend accident on I-85

Excessive speed may have been the cause of an accident on Interstate 85 in Macon County Friday night that left three people dead.

i am christopher mitchell,s aunt i know for a fact that kipper was a great driver and a god kid. he may have had a blowout or somthing like that . he is with his little sister stephane and his grammy and his pop now. i loved him very much and my prayers are going out to his mother jennifer she is a very strong woman she has lost both of her children. i only hope that gracie, his daughter will know someday what a great dad she had! we all love you kipper!!!!!!!!!!

It is a shame that the Alabama State Troopers cannot
seem to get a handle on the accident rate on I 85 from the Lee County line and the Montgomery County line.. Could it be that there is "No Troopers"on duty in Macon County,due to the States hiring practices.Or is Macon County just an out of the way place and is forgotten about by the State..Lee County seems to have troopers available and so does Montgomery County.. Why Not Macon County

I witness this tragic accident, It was a horrible site to see. It seemed help couldn't get there soon enough. My respect to all the people that pulled over to help. My condolences go out to the families that lost thier love ones.

sammy or anyone who saw. i am james chris's cousin but we were more like brothers can you tell me what realy happened that night. We just want to know from people who saw i guess to have a sort of closing. Everyone has something different to say about it. We grew up together and and were inseperable. We even had daughters at the same time. it is just realy important to me that i find out what really happened. Please could you tell me what you saw. Thank you!
