Man charged in stabbing death of 15-month-old Hurtsboro girl

HURTSBORO, Ala. - An aunt of a man accused of stabbing his 15-month-old niece to death said he is mentally ill and should have been in a mental hospital.

I think that he should be put away,and not to be let out. He might do it again.

I heard of this from my niece and it makes me so sick! Why was he out on the streets? If my memory serves me correctly, his father was killed by the police years ago when he went mental and dangerous. I lived in Hurtsboro for 32 years and my family had City Service Station on Main Street for many many years. I think this is the kid that use to go to the station and buy the Stage Planks...
