Teen surrenders in death of Sam Houston athlete

ARLINGTON -- An 18-year-old surrendered to authorities Wednesday in the shooting death of Quintarick Wilson, a popular athlete at Sam Houston High School.

First off no matter if they shot or not they were apart of the crime by being an accomplice...Now even if the other guy was apart of a gang this was a senseless act of ignorance that led to a tragic death...This has not only affected this young mans family's but, do you know how many kids and adults are mentally torn for seeing some shit like this happen at a party that started out as a birthday and ended as a crime seen...Please get your life together and know that no one has the right to walk around taking people lives!!! A party with gang members? Only an idiot would go to such a place. Do you think there would not be guns? Why are they hanging around people, or people that know people with guns. No one should have a gun in the first place!! I don't do drugs, but if I constantly started hanging around people that did drugs, or were involved in drugs, It would affect me in some way, directly or indirectly. This I promise. I learned a long time ago to surround myself with positive people.

Quin was not in a gang. and even if he was he was not a good gang banger because clearly my big brother made good grades in school and came on a daily bases..he didnt even hang out with the members in F.Y.C.. and i was at the party that night also and they already knew what and who they were coming for and it was not a gang party. it was more like a get together after our homecoming but really it was a homecoming party for quin to go to a better place..everyone in U.T.G that had something to do with the situation deserves every little sentence they get.. because it was stupid they dont want there mother going through something like that so why have his mother go through it????? the only thing you could do for the streets to get better is pray and leave it in gods hands.. love you big bro and you are always going to be missed...
