Officials release name of pedestrian fatally struck in Euless

Bill Miller Authorities have released the name of a man who was fatally injured Thursday evening when he was struck by Ford pickup in Euless.Harry Cruz, 57, of Euless, was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.

We are saddened by my uncle's death. We know that he is no longer suffering emotionally and is finally at peace. We realize this to be an accident, even though the investigation has not been final. We do not hold the gentleman who struck Harry accountable. We hope that he can move forward with his life and not dwell on this horrible accident. Harry is now in God's memory and has a wonderful hope of a resurrection as promised in the Bible.

We are very sorry for you uncle's untimely death and as you are we are praying he is in the hands of God and being taken care of. This has changed everyone's life whether they are related to Harry or the man who was driving the pickup that hit him. I just want you to know that we are praying for your family in this time of sorrow.
