The turkey plant in Huron has done nothing to help the economy in Huron. They recruit low wage uneducated workers to come here for the low paying jobs and they are a drain on the town's resources in the way of social services they avail themselves of.The town was sold a bill of goods that it would be the answer to the economy and the reverse is true!The increase in sales tax revenue is far exceeded by the costs to the town for said workers in all areas!
