The only way this city will revive itself is by making the board all republicans and reducing tax rates. In addition cleaning the crime and targeting the hasidic community for their schemes that is hurting the growth of sullivan county. Make a plea to cuomo to push through natural gas exploration

Chassidim are not hurting Sullivan county, chassidim are adding value and building new construction, the problem is that chassidim are being blocked and hurdles are being put down along the way on every step, I know I purchased a colony in Monticello and it was a nightmare to do anything, so I understand very well why Sullivan county is in the dumps, and no normal investor would touch anything here in Sullivan , Sullivan will stay poor until all the existing county and village leaders are kicked out of office, it has to be a groundswell of opposition against them for a chage to happen in Sullivan county
