Walker's Wisconsin Isn't Real

After watching the first gubernatorial debate I came to the conclusion Scott Walker's Wisconsin does not represent the Wisconsin I experience every day. My property taxes increase while my home value tanks. Health insurance for my family has become more burdensome. I thought Scott Fitzgerald axed the bipartisan effort on the Mining bill after a Republican senator forced the discussion. A federal nonpartisan agency reveals continuing job losses, not gains. Thousands are being kicked off health insurance or forced to pay more for fewer services. More teachers are leaving or working harder with fewer support services.
Then, apparently the drastic cuts in people services weren't enough to balance the budget. He needed to restructure$ 500 million of the balance by delaying the payment with a higher interest rate attached.
And he did all of this without bipartisanship.
Maybe the jet lag has gotten to him, but his description of my Wisconsin is not the reality I see.
I like Tom Barrett's experience of balancing 8 budgets and developing jobs in the Menominee Valley by bringing people together and working out a compromise.
Supporting Walker's top heavy and self-promotig agenda can only make us poorer, sicker, and dumber. Now that's making Wisconsin backwards.
