This is a good thing! Yes revamp the fields, the kids need a place to play ball, and tournament play would be a great thing for business, a few more social sports programs would be great for the kids, get them off the couch and out of the house!

Oh please.... Add more places for those annoying Pumas to sit around and drink beer. Yes they do. Every single time you see them, either in the dugout or at their vehicles while waiting to play. They are drinking in a place that is posted. I wish word would get out to alcohol control to bust these arrogant sob's for drinking.

O yes just incase your wondering no I am not looking for money for this, but I am looking for bats and balls and kids mitts, and while I am at it I want a background test for me so people know who I am and are not scared to bring out the kids, while I am at it I'll be talking to the police about booze in the parks,we don't need and thing like that in the parks, the parks are for families,I think people have forgot that around here,

You may have picked the wrong town.

Jackie, I commend you. It's great that you want good things. This town needs to dump all the foolish locals who have no interest in bettering this town. Unfortunately, Deming is a different beast. Not all people are bad and ugly. But I've learned that there are families in this town that think they own it and because they are related to everyone, they bully people. Just beware of them. You'll figure it out. Almanza's, Quarrell's, Armendariz's.....

I dont use this park due to the type of people it attracts. Drugs and booze are everywhere. Even in the summers where many children are using the facility. The adult teams should be barred from using the facility. I too believe that this town is is having another "Starmax" moment. Waste alot of money in hopes to make zero in return. How about lowering our taxes, since Deming has so much money to waste.

Jackie, its the job of the parents to get them off the couch and out of the house, doing things with their parents. I raised three boys in this town, and I made sure they were always busy. None of them ever got in trouble with the law, booze or drugs. They grew up to be fine respectable men. It not the job of Deming taxpayers to do you job.
