Great Idea! In fact, why have any polling stations at all? With 90% of voters not turning out for elections, it seems a waste of funds to cater to the 10% minority who do bother to vote!
Ha-Ha! Just Kidding! Closing polls is the opposite of what is really needed. Who benefits when you make it harder to vote? This county is so spread out, there should be hundreds of polling stations, or better yet a polling bus that would go up and down all the rural roads like the bookmobile used to do. That would increase voter turnout, and make it easier for constituent-serving candidates to be elected. The right to vote is too powerful a freedom to throw away!
