Forced Colonoscopy Victim Gets $1.6 Million
A New Mexico man forced by police to undergo a colonoscopy has settled his legal case against officials from Hidalgo County and Deming, N.M. David Eckert, 64, will be paid $1.6 million by the local governments -- $650,000 from Hidalgo County and $950,000 from the city of Deming -- to resolve the case, filed in U.S. District Court in November.

I would like to know How many people lost their job over this. This cost the taxpayers of Deming almost one million dollars. I think all the people involved and their bosses should be fired. I also hope that policies and procedures have been changed so this never happens again. Be responsible and fire these people.
