Shame that the Air Force doesn't know enough about Flying to train its own crewman.

The 705,000 Air Farce Personnel should be reabsorbed by the Army .
Or the Six weeks basic training reduced to one week.

What a Waste !

Let's see, for that much money and that many employees it comes out to a little over $629,000 dollars per employee per year. An employee will probably average about $80,000 salary so that leaves about $549,000 PER EMPLOYEE PER YEAR for direct income for Lockheed Martin. For each of their employees working on this training the company will make half a million dollars per year.

And this is training, not heavy support or material supplied. This is unbelievable! How can a company make this much money just training people? And how can our government justify spending that much for training? It's not like they're training the whole Air Force. It appears to be a rather small group! There should be an investigation here because this certainly looks like there's some funny stuff going on.

Now Martinez and Nelson, you messed up pretty bad with the illegal bill that you were trying to push through. Why don't you try earning your pay (what a novel idea) and look into this? Or do we have to get 80% of the country on the phones and e-mail again to get something done?

There's lots of funny stuff going on in the military simulator training programs...Add this $1-billion to the nearly $12-billion recently doled out to the dozens of other private companies which have glommed onto this Pentagon boondoggle...
Loooong story about all of it. The justification seems to be to give the troops a Disney experience as war-combat training. It also provides luxurious employment to scads of imagineers and their executive moguls...
My favorite is Infantry Training by video animation. Boy, that's getting them ready for roadside bombers in the 100-degree heat of Iraq...
So far, the Marine Corps is sticking with running the arses off the grunts at Pendleton and Lejeun--the correct way to prepare for the worst to come...
The Orlando Sentinel drools all over itself reporting on this BigBucks Bonanza for local playgame hackers, never questioning the validity or usefullness of this make-believe nonsense...Disgusting, but typical of journalism as a pandering adjunct to the Chamber of Commerce...
