It looks like the restaurant is very close to being ready to open. We've been eagerly waiting. Would love to know the Grand Opening date and what type of food will be served. Please run an ad to inform the community. Good luck!

My husband and I enjoyed many a meal at the old Boathouse. You just couldn't beat it for atmosphere. The new Boathouse Landing is too mainstream -- I am SO excited that Bryce is back and will soon have the Compass Rose open. It's my lunch time right now. I think I'll just cruise down that way and see what's going on. :)

Wow - I was lucky to be at the Compass Rose for a night before opening for family and friends. It was a fantastic evening! The exterior is very nice but wait till you see the inside! I believe they will open next week. From the deck you can actually see Sandestin. I can hardly believe we have a place like this in Valp!!! Everything is top of the line. The food was incredible (I had yellowfin tuna with veggies). Love that you can pick your sides. The desert was an indulgence! Happy faces all around. The old boathouse was nothing compared to this. We just had a wonderful time and will be back soon. Finally you can have your friends come this direction to out instead of having to cross Midbay Bridge! Service was awesome from the Bussers to the Management!!!

Hi! Can you tell me what types of foods will be served
? I am allergic to shell fish so I'm wondering if the owner/cook will be cooking & frying their seafood in different oils than nonseafoods? Thank you.
