Far too many death row inmates are getting a stay of execution due to the fact that they have to be well before they can be put to death. Cancer treatment, hip replacements, and care for crippling genetic disorders (which will never be cured) are among many examples. Things need to change. Why do they sterilize the injection site before giving the lethal injection?
