I had my son's party there. He had a great time and the place was really clean. Now he won't stop asking to go there so we are going there for play time. Plus one of the kids he invited is having her party there. Good luck.

Jump Zone is awful! I would not recommend. They are a poor knock off of a really awesome place call Pump It Up party. Jump Zone's parties are not private although they try to make it sound like they are. They allow multiple parties to jump simulataneously whereas Pump It up is entirely private and supervised. Also, Pump It up is safer. Most of my friends will not allow their kids to go to Jump Zone

Kathy, who are you to recommend something? Have you been to the Jump Zone in Huntsville? You live in Illinois. How can you comment on a store in Huntsville? How do you know pump it up is safer? This posting sounds like pump it up propaganda. Kathy must be affiliated with pump it up some how. I live in Huntsville and have been to the Jump Zone and the Pump It Up. The pump it up stinks. It is small and has boring inflatables. Plus it was dirty. It is like a Chucky Cheese with inflatables instead of a hamster tube. Kathy is wrong. Jump Zone was way better. Every person should try both and make there own mind up.

I think this is a terrible post from someone affiliated with a Jump!Zone competitor. Kathy, your business must be so slow to take the time to say such awful and untrue things. Jump!Zone is like Five guys burgers, just a different solution for us customers to choose from.

Sorry to upset the apple cart. Someone asked my opinion and I told them. I've been to the Mokena, IL Jump Zone and Pump It Up in the area so I am comparing two experiences. I am giving you facts which are one is private, the other is not. Many of my friends will not allow their children to go to parties at Jump Zone without them personally supervising their children. It is another option for parents although I personally think it is not a good option for me b/c I pefer a less chaotic party. That is the beauty of blogs. I have nothing to do with Pump it Up up except that I have five children and have to been to many kids birthday parties (there and other places) over the years. We've lived throughout the country and have been to many Pump It Up parties in different states. I've only been to the one Jump Zone location and have nothing to do with Pump it Up financially as someone indicated. Wish I did! Good luck. I'm surprised at someones FL experience since all the Pump it Up's I've been to have been very similar~some stronger than others but all good.

I think JumpZone is great. Pump It Up is nice but for younger children there were a lot of things they could not do. My daughter was three at the time we went to a party there and we had to help her do everything. JumpZone was much more entertaining for a variety of ages; both places were clean and fun. I think it just depends on the kids and personal preference. We've been to parties at both and they've been enjoyable.

While I haven't been to Pump it up, I have been to JumpZone in Hunstille, AL. I found the Huntsville facility to be safe, clean, neat, the staff was friendly, and the play was supervised. I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old and they both loved it! I would definately recommend JumpZone!

YES ! I have been to all the jump zones in the Atlanta area and
I must say they are very clean. Some are older than others. But
you can rent the place for private parties, or schedule on a day and
time when nobody else is there.

I think Kathy was probably an unsatisfied customer or affiliated with PIU. There is no way the people at the Mokena Jump!Zone would allow their place to be dirty.

Hey all, just wanted to throw in my own opinon, about the two places and comment on what Kathy from New Lenox says, My boys and family love Jump Zone, its a really nice and clean place for birthdays, First off Kathy says the parties are not supervised, yes they are, and you as a parent wouldn't you watch your kids anyway? Yes there are several birthday parties going on, but if you do want to rent the place out for only your birthday party, you can do that too. The other place is a bit out of the way, and both are equally nice, I just like Jump Zone cause its really easy to get to.

We live in Huntsville and have been to both the Jump Zone and Pump it up. We used to live in Atlanta and we used Pump it up there also. So we
are familiar with Pump it up for about 3 years prior to moving to Huntsville.

Both Jump Zone and Pump it up have very good facilities but cater to different customers. Pump it up caters to private parties only. Jump Zone gives you a private party room but the jumping is mixed with other people that are there that day.

The Pump it Up in Huntsville is the first one that We have seen that has only 1 jump room. All the ones we saw in Atlanta had two separate jump rooms so that two separate parties could be put on at the same time. We have been to at least 5 parties in the Huntsville facility and had one for our son there too and it has never been dirty so I dont know what Steve has witnessed but we havent seen that. It has always been clean.

We prefer the way Pump it It has private parties for Birthdays for the reason Kathy mentioned for Safety of your children. When you have Children under 5 you dont want larger kids jumping around and posibly injuring one of them. It is quite possible for that to happen so thats where the private party concept works well.

We like the Jump Zone here too and have been there for free play several times.

Both franchises are fine businesses but have a slightly different business model. We support them both.

I have been to pump it up in Illinois and I agree that the parties are private. However, The staff were not friendly and almost seemed bothered by our presence. A couple of kids lost their coats for awhile. It took awhile before we were able to locate them. I liked the privacy but I felt very rushed and unwelcomed. I am going to try Jump Zone to see if I like them better. By phone they appeared courteous and accomodating.

Jump Zone only schedules parties of same or near age kids at the same time. You will not get a 3 year old party with an 8 year old party at the same time. Also, they do NOT allow walk in traffic at the same time as birthday parties. Go to both, then ask the kids which one they like best.
