Jake, does Kelly require an MRI like Dr. Murphy does? Also, how much is his first visit?

The good doctor had me crush up a dozen Ativans, put them in a paper towel, run em' under some warm water, and stick em' right up my butt. It works!

I wonder why Mr. Aggarwal did that. Maybe to avoid jail time. Oh, by the way, I told told all of you he wouldn't be back. And for who relieved most of my pain ... Dr. Edwards. NoLimit I do really appreciate your post about him. I don't think I would have found him otherwise. Ironically, Mr. Aggarwal caused more pain than he fixed. Although the pain he caused was a different kind of pain.

I wish a pain free life for us all. Now that this chapter of our lives is over, maybe we can find some peace. I know there are lots of people who need heavy duty meds (like for cancer, surgery, and other out of the norm situations), but there is different way to treat most of us.

Mr. Aggarwa rocks. He helped me with my pain. I had this horrible paper cut on my finger. He prescribed hydrocodone-apap 7.5. I crushed 4 of them up, like he recommended, Placed them in a warm paper towel and put them in my butt. He is a miracle worker. The pain was gone.

I know a couple of people that go to Edwards and they say he starts you out slow but then raises you gradually if he see's fit.$500 start out and no MRI required, for some.

I know some that have been going to some place in TN but not sure of that doctors name. Most of the rest just swapped over to Dr. Murphy and a few are going to Dr. Ali in Jasper, AL. Ali is $300 up front, no MRI required and Murphy is $450 with an MRI required the last I heard. In my book, Dr. Ali and his staff are a joke! Don't even bother with him if you don't have insurance that they can bill the hell out of.

Is that the price for people who have insurance? Dr. Edwards did not charge me that.

I didn't think he ever prescribed real opiates.

Yes, no insurance is $500 and he does prescribe opiates but not like Aggarwal did. He gives you half or less to start on and he will raise it if he feels it's needed. I know 2 that go and they both get Oxycodone and Xanax and something else but not sure what it is. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might have thought about the wrong one. His name might be Dr. Davis lol. I keep getting those two mixed up for some reason. I don't keep up with either of them that good so I'm not positive but it might be Davis that I'm thinking about. I'll find out for sure.

Well I got the result of my neck MRI. 4 bulging cervical disks.(C-4 through C-7). Plus my new doctor had already found problems with the L-4 - S-1. Plus arthritis in my neck, back, and knee. Also, neuropathy, stenosis, nerve impingment. I have had two MRI's now. At least I know what is wrong with me. I am happy still to not have to take Oxy!

I am still working on a non-opiate resolution. I am so-o-o happy to not have to deal with the FORMER Dr. Aggarwal and all the bullsh*t that went on his office.

I hope everyone is havjng a good day.

Why I even try to post something meaningful and helpful on this board I will never know comments like the last one really piss*s me off. Just proves how many TRUE addicts there are everywhere. And anyone who tries to find an alternative to heavy opiates is degraded and made fun of.

Why don't all the addicts just go away to some island and get all the opiates they want and leave the rest of society alone? And I might add this applies to some of the patients who have defended Aggarwal. His practices were against all medical guidelines. But (and me included), when you are on all that heavy medication you just cannot see it that way. I am still so glad to be detoxed.

Have you been reading the thread all the way back to the first one? If you haven't then you really don't know if I judge others or not. This board has outlived its usefulness.

And by the way; it, will be a cold day in hell before I "shut the hell up." I have spent the last 6 months creating a new life for myself. And whenever I post maybe Aggs way was not the best ... I get blasted. I tried to be uplifting and encouraging.

I guess I will shut up (on this board). I am building a new, pain free life without oxy ...i wanted to help anyone i could. It is futile. So i am out.

NoLimit, thanks for the headsup about Edwards. I really do like him.

I know that the rumors about him now practicing in TN are a result of a Dr.(non-pain mgt.) with the same name.

However, through some attorneys involved in a lawsuit against Aggarwal say that he has now started doing business (legit or not, we do not know) in Georgia.

Anyone have any credible information on the latest with the "good doc?"
