Whey is the poor woman walking alone at night like that? Women are becoming more and more disenfranchised since Carter and Clinton sent all the sewing plants to Mexico and China. This should be turned around and all industry and businesses that want to outsource, send their owners to that country to live or fine them heavily. It is clear that this woman could have used a home and some transportation but all the bleeding heart churches especially the United Methodist and St. Johns in Cullman help only the illegal Mexicans.

Why was this woman walking on the interstate at 2am?? And if she had a reason, she sould have been wearing reflective material. It is hard enough for a truck driver to see cars duing the day...much less humans at 2am in complete darkness.

Walking on the roads at night are very dangerous. I think this is a good reason that the speed limit for semi trucks should be lowered and ENFORCED!! I see to many big rigs on the roads going way too fast, some in excess of 80 MPH. Please do something, what is it gonna take, getting more people killed.

Where did you "sniff out" any "redneck" posts? Maybe it takes one to know one.

that don from GA. is an idiot anyway it is illegal for people to walk down the interstate night or day she should have not been there to begin with and i have a feeling if it was a car or a pickup truck she would have been hit anyway so shut your mouth don from GA. semi trucks are this countries life blood with out them no gas, food, cloths furniture,no nothing so before you start blaming semi trucks for all the problems think about it or you might be sitting naked at home with no food no power in a empty house

I don't think this story is very clear. was she walking and a truck that ran out of gas hit her or did her truck run out of gas and as she was walking another truck hit her? I read the article and the article states "State Troopers say a truck apparently ran out of gas, and the woman was walking northbound on the interstate when the truck hit her."

Either way she was hit and needs our prayers. God bless, He is a healer, so I pray for his healing power for this woman.

What major details? How hard is it to understand? She ran out of gas, she was walking on the road, she got hit, her leg was broken, she was med-flighted out, she will recover. What else do you need to know?

I know some of you are confused over this article and don't like the way it was written so I thought I would share what I gathered from it. I assume that this woman was walking on the SIDE of interstate. The truck, running out of gas, starts to pull to the side of the road, not seeing her and hitting said woman. No, the article is not 100% clear on that. They have not included all the "juicy" details for you. Seriously, do you want to know exactly which leg was broken too? haha

Are you stupid? Can't you read? It's as clear as the nose on your face. The truck ran out of gas (not diesel or 10% ethanol/90% gas mix) and obviously lost it's air brakes just as the airplane they forgot to mention made an emergency landing on the interstate. Afterwards, a UFO landed, and a 900 foot tall Jesus stepped out of it. WHTN News is great... they leave it all up to the imagination.

Right on Don, I agree with you 100%. You're my kinda guy... a thinkin man. Not only should they do something about those crazy drugged out speeding truck drivers taking acid & smokin crack, they also need to slow down these dagun trains. I was walking down the tracks yesterday on the way to the rescue mission for a free meal, and bout got run over by a speeding train. As a matter of fact, it caused me to spill a nearly full bottle of Thunderbird wine.

The posts seem to be getting better since the Rednecks left. Very rarely will you find a rig running out of gas. Those truckers can run those things for miles and miles. Ever notice how they run idling during the cold winter months? The semi-truck was MOST likely the one the DID NOT run out of gas. She did. She wasn't walking in a safe area. The result: Broken Leg.
Hope she recovers quickly.
Come back Rednecks!
