Good for AL but where did they go to? If they went anywhere but south of the border it just means another state will have to fork over their $$$ to support them.

Outstanding! Now the class sizes are smaller and American kids can get the attention they need to learn in a smaller, more productive and less distracting environment.

Bueno bye, adios, hasta la vista... Andalé!!!

This is so sad, those wonderful children need an education. The new law is raciest. If they were European whites it would all be groovy. Good thing they are not black. They would be treated even worse.

The state of Alabama is required by federal law to find out the condition and status of the missing children to ensure that they receive an education. Alabama cannot forgo the federal dollars as those dollars make up about 75% of the Alabama education budget.

Maybe it's "take your kid to work" day. I saw some sawed-off little mud colored kids roofing a house today.

But if they are on the move, the truant officer cannot locate them...they don't usually leave a forwarding address. When and if they register their kids in another school system in another state, then the AL school system can formally consider them as withdrawn. Yes, ADA is an important factor to a school systems, but because there will not be the need for as many ELL programs, schools will regroup and in the end breathe a sigh of relief and get back to teaching as usual.

OSHA rules prevent kids from being on the worksite. Next time take a picture, get the address, get the name of the company and file a complaint. The contractor will get fined. Oh you can also call the cops. I did and the kids were put on the curb for the remainder of the day.

What a disgraceful comment. Those kids need an education, go to school in their home countries at the expense of those countries. This has nothing to do with race, and throwing that card on the table marks you as a fool.
