Obviously you don't watch the news everyday. They arrested like 20 men last year on Monte Santo Mtn. for gay acts. And guess what. They mentioned craigslist.
Only 20? There are that many on Craigslist EVERY DAY.

No crap. And there are thousands of drug dealers, drug users, robbers, burglars, rapists, kidnappers, etc running around everyday. They have to try and catch those people too. Kinda hard to do it all with just a couple hundred cops. I believe the police are doing everything that they can.

Well then you should go sign up and change the world Ken. I'm sure you can do a better job. Problem is not our cops it's our society. So many people on drugs, robbing, etc. and so many people like you pointing blame at the wrong people. Wake up Ken. We are in a war. A war within our own country. Huntsville could hire 5 thousand more cops and we would still have major problems. Let's fix the justice system. Lock these people up and throw away the keys.

Society will not improve with more of its citizens in jail. The USA already imprisons a greater percentage of its citizens than any other country on earth. As for your ad homonyms, they weaken your argument, such as it is.

LOL. Lets free them all then. No jail time for dealing drugs or robbing people or so on. That will fix everything. Oh and lets shut down the internet too so people can't advertise on craigs list.

Oh and some countries cut your hand off if you steal. Guess what, most people wouldn't take that chance. Here in America people know that they won't get in any serious trouble if they do something wrong. I can go sell drugs to your kids right now, get them hooked on crack cocaine, get put in jail for a night, and then only be put on probation because I have a clean record. If I knew that I would serve a minimum of 5 years in jail for a first time offense, then guess what, I wouldn't take a chance.

I'll take a chance at speeding for a $100 ticket, but I wouldn't take a chance if that ticket was $1000.

We need stricter penalties for our laws. Period.

I agree ken. That money pit we call a jail is overcrowded with drug addicts, where’s the major drug dealers? Other than a few rednecks operating meth labs, when is the last time anyone heard of a major drug bust in Madison County? They’ll arrest a crack head standing outside a crack house, while they do nothing at all about the crack house its self.

They arrested some a month ago with 400 lbs of marijuana and 200K in cash. I believe it was on Pulaski Pike. I have also seen several other news casts very recently where they have done search warrants on drug dealers houses. All of which were in Madison County. Just another uneducated citizen who has no idea what really goes on.

Looks like someone is bitter for being arrested for smoking crack.

Don’t think anyone is upset about a little crack buddy. The real crooks are the ones with the badges kicking in those doors. We all know Big Daddy had $400k instead of $200k and when has a lil mary jane ever hurt anyone? The hookers in Huntsville are the least of anyone’s worries here. If anything you should be more concerned with their clientele list LOL Give us a break really tho! Go catch some real criminals!

They need to arrest javascript:void(0)the MEN as well as the women. No little girl wants to be a prostitute when she grows up. Most of these women have been abused by a man or men at some point in their lives.
As for the illegals and Americans not having any jobs, does anyone remember a while back a news story concerning many people working here in Huntsville legally, and the apartments they were renting were overcharging? Why is this country bringing people from other countries over here to take jobs in the better paying factories, when we
have Americans without work and wanting to work?
Maybe News 19 can do an investagative report on this.

This is about as low as a human being can get. There is no good excuse for prostitution. I hope HPD will arrest some of their customers too.
I have to disagree with you. This occupation has been around since before biblical days. Oldest profession known to man or woman I believe.

In these times, it is really difficult to support oneself with the tight job market. More compassion towards our fellow man is demanded and reach a hand out to assist these lost souls to find solid footing. I really feel sorry for them and as one poster did state, they should also arrest the Johns too since they are out there looking for a hit.

Peace brothers and sisters.
