Whats next? Middlefield Village has lost a lot of revenue in the last 2 years, next they will annex Georgia Road into the village. The Georgia Road bi-pass is just the beginning. I have lived on Georgia Road for 30 years and I must say it hasn't become a better place to live, it's becomming a hecktic place to live!

Hey this is just progress. This road needs to be made safer because of the increased traffic. I drive it all the time to get around middlefield. It sucks to be a person living there, but most of us in this area are pretty much in the same boat. What we really need to complain about is the increased buggy traffic. We can't let a minority of people destroy our roads and not help pay for it. Amish buggies need to be regulated and fitted with safety equipment and if they cant pass a minimal crash safety test the same way cars are required too then they should not be allowed on our roads.

Hey Joe: Don't you have anything better to do,than pick on the Amish? Try bowling or golf. It's fun.

Hey Jack I don't have anything against Amish. I have a problem with their unsafe buggies on roads that I travel on every day. You are from Novelty and therefore unless you drive in the Middlefield area everyday you have no idea of the damage they cause to our roads and the constant saftey hazard they pose. The vast majority of us so called "Yankees",(in the Middlfield area)agree that something needs to be done, about the manure and the saftey hazards. Do you think its right that they don't have to pay license fees for their buggies? You know those plate fees go to fix the local roads. I just belive they should have to live by the same rules as the rest of us. I am not asking them to do anything that I don't aready have to do myself. I am a Catholic and I could not even begin to imagine asking the government to let me be exempt from license fees because of my religion. Oh btw my hobbies are hunting and fishing they are way more fun than golf and bowling. If I was going to pick on someone I would pick on golfers and bowlers not the Amish.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
