I grew up in Brandywine, now live
in AZ. Family had a boat at Benedict,
I went to Mass at St. Francis De Sales
many times, late 1940's & 50's
I am happy to know church will be restored.
Plan to visit it next time I am there.

Priest, parishioners vow recovery from church fire
Sid Marcus, Latin Mass coordinator at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, takes pictures inside the church after the building was damaged by a fire Friday in Benedict.
