Heard it is a "Mini-Walmart"!
New concept they are trying around the country. Selling pop, bread, milk, etc. Small convenience store with lower prices than most quick stop stores.
The concept of "Super Walmart" has not worked in some markets leaving shelves full of slow moving items and taking up valuable seasonal and holiday floor space where products are moved out quickly!
The Rt. 60 store is supposed to be one of 100 to open nationwide by Spring of 2012!

They are not building anything... When that Walmart was first built the drain pipes were ran incorrectly which caused problems for the nationwide building.. They have to dig it all up and fix the drain pipes that's it. No white castle or anything like that.... Sorry oh an i know because I work there

That happens when you build on a lake. I'd hate to be the architect that designed the drainage system.

But in addition to repairing the water issue, Walmart is preparing land for potential businesses to locate there. This is according to an article I've read.

So you say they are doing all this work and spending all the time and money just to keep the drains from harming the Nationwide building?
Don't you think that Walmart has enough money and sense to just buy the Nationwide building??
They are replacing the drains and also installing new drains for the Mini-Walmart and a small plaza of stores to be leased!

I won't mention the exact property/location but I've heard a rumor that a Walmart is going in somewhere between Huntington and Ceredo. It would be great but I really hope it doesn't go into this particular property.

So not having a certain type of wal-mart store in your neighborhood makes you a retarded hick? Thank god we have sophisticated people like you around to let us know how truly unintelligent we are. For that I thank you. Now blow me.

No way could we use a mini walmart. Not enough room for all the mart carts the fat lazy people ride in.

I don't get why they would build a mini Walmart in front of an existing Walmart.

So I guess I'm not the only one who heard the Camden Park rumor. Didn't want to mention the exact location at first. Hope the rumor is false.

I'd like to see a Walmart built where Harbor Freight is located in Ceredo.

The mini-wal-marts are designed to compete with Family Dollar, Dollar General, etc...

It is going to continue until Wal-Mart is our only choice.

They have all ready put the Mom and Pop stores out of business.

Now they are aiming for the smaller chain stores.

I hate Wal-Mart.
