I would be suspicious of some of the above comments. First off there is not a female employee that I have every seen working at Jeff's bike shop, so that sort of shoots down the comments that Kelly above made.
Furthermore, Jeff has been in business in Huntington for 25 year and has more experience than anyone in this business in the Huntington area, so go ahead and take your chances with the other bike shop in town that has been open for about 2 years. He carries a good product line, and has always been supportive of cycling in the community. I have never had a problem there before, but some of his staff member do take a while to grow on you. Jeff also has a racing background for the more serious bikers in town. I would recommend that you visit his shop, and ask for him personally.
I would be completely suspicious of the above statements .. Way too much information to be merely some local yokel , if Jeff s needs to advertise, they really should pay for it instead of thinly veiled self promotion . The guy at Jeff s has about as much personality as a rock. The guys has no social skills whatsoever... Unless your into stoneface zombies

Agree, I won't go there any more. People act like you are just there Ito inconvenience them!

Huntington cycle is on 10th street and between 10th and 11th avenue. Never been there, but have heard it's really good. Try that one

Been there a number of times and always treated like a outcast. I went with my brother who was wanting a bike and found a used mint bike. He was quoted a price, then the guy stepped out. The other guy said it was not for sale, my brother ask them to call the guy who left and check. They did and my brother got the bike. I ask about buying a basic tool and the guy working on a bike said they don't sell tools for people to work on their own bikes...lol. jurks!! Go to Huntington Cycle on 10th St and enjoy the visit. I just bought a new bike for the wife and they are the best in Huntington. I'm sure Jeffs will treat you good if you're buying a new bike... maybe. But Huntington Cycle is friendly to you even if you just stop by. And they installed a new work/service station in front of the store.... free to use! And a jurks free zone.
