I don't know about them. I'd never heard that. He owns places like that? What places? This is interesting.

Skip is the master deceiver alright. He deceives his wife. He deceives the public. Everyone thinks he walks on water. This guy just fools everyone. In time the truth will come out. How he has embezzled money to how he protected his pawn shop from criminal investigations.
I totally agree with everything you have said. From what I have seen and heard is if you're a snitch , no matter what you're doing yourself your free just to make him look good. Doesn't work for me. He doesn't look good at all in my eyes. And it's who ya know and who ya blow so he's taken care of there too. The guy is sick !

To Bernard: Please enlighten us on how you "know" so much about the Police Chief of the Huntington Police Department? Do you know him personally or is it he say, she say that you've heard about him? I am not being rude or funny, but I was just wondering how you know these thing's about him? I personally from what I have observed from seeing him out in the public or on the news is that he seems to be a good guy trying to do a great job at HPD. That's just what I have seen though.
I saw him with my own eyes getting on the police boat with that young lady and a cooler. They were not dressed for work. Everyone knows about his pawn shop and how it was the place to take the stolen stuff to. What a better place to take stolen goods to then a crooked cop's pawn shop.

Big bucks. He had to sell it because the Feds were getting close to him. He still owns a bunch of those cigarette and gambling parlors. It may be legal but looks funny when the police chief is involved with vice activities. Next we will find out he is running a whore house.

The liquor store at the sixth street bridge, the gambling parlor there, the gambling parlor down the alley called the back door, one called little Vegas in Wayne county, one in mason county, not to mention the payday loans in Chesapeake.

Do you actually personally know him or just know of him? I can see your point that it looks odd for the Chief of HPD to own those types of business's, but like you said it's not really illegal for him to do so. I mean if that's what kind of business he want's to own or partially own then that's really up to him. I can't really knock him for making other income from business's he owns. We all have some kind of flaw that doesn't make us perfect or have a perfect image. As long as he does his job well, and lawfully then I can't really dog him for whatever he does in his personal life. Like I said though I do not personally know him, but he seems like he does a good job as the Chief of HPD. As for his marriage or personal life only his wife and himself know what's going on in their lives.

After reading all this I am highly concerned with the direction our city is headed. We have all these scandals going on at a national level, and now allegations of corruption and misuse of equipment here at the city level. We know our president is actively covering up wrong doings, so what is our mayor going to do? Maybe the city council could investigate or better yet have Tom McCallister dig into it. He seems to be the only honest person around concerned about Huntington.

I am glad that you find it amusing casph. I checked into it myself and did find him to be involved in several shady businesses. I found the information on the WV Secretary of State website for business licensing. As for Mr. McCallister I believe he would be quite capable to look into these dealings.
