95% of all these nasty comments about HHR came from one person that is very sad and now very bord. A disgruntaled social worker that quit before she was fired. She gossiped about investigations with line staff,stayed dazed and confussed during work hours,never completed one task she started (without woody's help), and bought pills from anyone that would talk to her at work. It was no secret how strung out she was getting, she would even nodd off when interviewing employees. She has slandered HHR and the DON, but failed to tell everyone it was a mutural relationship(between her and woody).If she had such a problem with everything, why did she wait until she was out of the "click" to start trash talking?

Hahahahaha. That's great. But it's nit slander unless it's false. So great job corporate man. And if it was false what you'd be looking for would be "liable" bc it's in writing on here. And topix is a news site by category. Good luck getting then to turn over IP addresses. Also. You're not corporate. Bc corporate wouldn't waste their time on this site. Bc they don't give a shit. Why? Bc when they've had numerous complaints filed within the company via the corporate compliance line the issues still have never been fixed. The only time corporate makes a move within HHR is when they are threatened by state to have the facility shut down or taken over bc of staffing crisis'. FYI. A year ago in less than two months. Over 28 patients died of unknown and unexpected causes. Why? Bc labs were missed. Potassium levels were jacked up. Coumarin doses are sub therapeutic and residents threw clots. Or they fall and have injuries that aren't reported bc no one wants the paper work. I even had a patient once that has fallen. No one reported or did anything about it. And come to find out. Shed had a broken hip fir nearly a month. Hmmmmmmmm. Great job taking care of people,huh?? Oh and they never find proof bc woody loves to say "let's hide this investigation bc it makes us look bad. Destroy this incident report and rewrite it this way. Oh let's say that had this on admission so it's not on us. Great place to take lived ones,huh??:-) read that corporate man.

From my family's experience... The physical rehab seemed to be excellent without any complaints. However, as far as everything else-it took complaints, reminders, etc. I even broke down crying after walking in and realizing there had been yet another meal period without getting a tray. Their excuse was "oh, she wasnt on the list" REALLY!! Not on the list...after five days, and bringing a meal to her roommate, know one realized she wasnt getting fed?!?!?! Not to mention she was a full assist...
Things were much better after my family periodically showed up at all hours,(mainly when things were supposed to be done, but random hours too) reminding/asking about everything! Baths, food, medicine, bed hygiene. We even took our own cleaning products to clean the shower room ourself before letting our loved one go in there. After a while the staff got to know us, expected us, and were very accomodating. There were staff who recognized me, when their face didnt look the least bit familiar. I appreciate their help with our family, but felt very sorry for some of the other patients who may have not had family to be there and supervise. Like most places like this, its hard to make all facets of the program run smoothly together, and I think most all there were over worked-too many hours at one time, too many patients to care for alone, etc. Not any one person's fault inparticular, but still Im thankful to be out of there.

Why has this place not been reported? If everyone who has worked there says it is so bad why don't they do something about it? Don't just tell the management there, go over their heads as well. Anyone seeing this first hand and letting it go on is just as guilty of the abuse.

Don't think it hasn't been but the thing is when you go up against large corporations well let's just say money talks and bull$hit walks. And paperwork can disappear. Entire charts can be rewritten. There are ways for them to come out squeaky clean.

Statistically speaking, 75% of what people gossip about is true. I imagine this place is no worse than any other place. There is a theory that you keep getting promoted until you incompetent, so every place has a dumbass in charge that doesn't need to be. Also 1 in 4 people participate in workplace affairs, so it's not uncommon, especially if more females are in a given location than males. If anyone was smart, they wouldn't deal with ANY type of healthcare in Huntington as we only hire the lowest of the low. If they were any good, they wouldn't be in WV.

Tell that to Dr. Ali who is one of the best in the WORLD as well as all of Cabell. Not to mention I said that the most of what that moron said was gossip not what everyone else said. So piss piss off with pessimistic attitude as well.

I am an LPN and I have walked cna's out of facilities for such things not once have I seen a family member do this or tell someone to do it. So how ignorant are you I take it you are one of the people that has been walked out or investigated for such things

i wanted to be rehired and they wont rehire me because of the way i quit .but you can get fired and be rehired there.that sucks .but that's OK i found a better nursing home to work at .

Taylor McCarthy is a hoe, she will sleep with anything that walks, this is so funny that I see her name on here. I did not know she worked at hhr, I feel sorry for her co workers wife's or gf, she will fuck there husbands and bf..she had a good guy and cheated on him with whoever she's with now. I know them both.
