have you guys all read about the new city ordinance that passed? come july there will be a committee that will go all over huntington ticketing people for having COUCHES ON THEIR PORCHES!! this is ridiculous. actually its really anything upholstered. whatever they decide is "furniture that shouldn't be outside." up to $500 fines and or 30 days jail time for violators.

just another way the city is targeting lower income individuals for money gouging. what f***ers

Looks like the hood rats will have to get off their video gaming lazy asses and clean up outside. Maybe the welfare can hire laborers to do it for them.

take your TRASH inside your lower income house and you wont have to worry about the fine or 30 days in the hole.

It is a problem in more of the city than just the "hood".

This plan has overwhelming support. The only people that have an issue with it are the ones trashing up the city. I'm glad the new mayor has a plan to literally clean up Huntington. There will be dumpsters throughout the city and extra garbage pick up days. How can anyone take issue with a cleaner town?

I agree paw.clean isn't a bad thing,it's just sad that people have to be made to clean up.

Agree 100% Wheezy. It is a sad state of affairs when people would rather live in filth. The time is long overdue to restore and revitalise Huntington.

Lower income people...you're right...because when we get another couch it isn't delivered by a store....and can't afford to pay someone to take the old one somewhere else....but thankfully the city is providing somewhere to take the old stuff now....they are providing cleanup...I'm all for it...might be low income but work!

If you can get a new (or not so new) couch to your shack, here's a thought. The SAME day, while the pickup truck is parked outside, when you take off the new one, put the OLD one in the truck bed and haul it to the dump like decent people. If you can haul garbage in, you can sure as sh** haul garbage out.

Stop whining. Huntington literally stinks because of trashy people that have no business even living in a town.

They come down out of the hollers with their 4-wheelers and two dozen dogs and think that's "city livin'". They are an embarrassment and we're sick of seeing and smelling them.
